Silver gave another confused look and one of shock to find that she had a god-father. But what really drew her attention was that at the mention of her past her birth celebration get father became guarded. She turned to him, now using the table to help her stand up. "Father....there is something youre not telling me. I can feel it, see it....." She said giving him a skeptical look.

Jade watched sipping her drink. She wondered just how much her powers were in-tuned with her emotions. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to be here. She stepped closer to the little group side stepping the bartender

Before Morgan could reply, Julian was still on a nostalgia kick. He pulled out a picture and showed it to Silver.

"Check this out. It's a picture from your birth celebration. Gotta say, you were being held by the best lookin guy in the room. That would be me."

The picture showed a small group of people, Morgan or Andromeda weren't in the picture, one of them must have been holding the camera. Julian was indeed holding a small baby in the picture, but the one thing that stood out was the fact that Julian looked exactly the way he currently did, part horse and everything. The only difference was the fact that he obviously looked younger.

Noah's eyes showed worry as Sami knelt down in front of her, though the rest of her features were harder to read in the leopard's form. She tried to lower her voice, but it made it more difficult to talk clearly. Her voice rumbled through her neck as a growl would, but some how formed into words.

"It would not be a wise idea for me to enter the portal like this. My control is not 100% and I can only do so much. I need to shift back, but we do not have the time for the rest I need after I shift. If I am to shift and keep going, I'll need absorb someone's energy as I do it. I need 2 willing donors for this so I won't incompasitate anyone. It'll make them a little weak for about 5 minutes, but they will be fine afterwards." She paused for a moment, thinking over how to say the next part.

"I was truly hoping you won't be offended by my asking if you would lend me some energy. It is not my wish to weaken you, I wouldn't if I knew any other way. But I will need one other person, and I don't know these people well enough to ask. The only other person I've even spoken to is Jocun, but he already seems on edge about me and draining his essence wouldn't put me any higher there." Her eyes drifted over to Jocun as she spoke about him, then back to the woman in front of her as she finished.

"Would you please help me with this? I would be a greater asset as a human than like this and I will repay my debt to you." Her tone was serious under the rumbling of her voice.

"I wouldn't want to be drained right before jumping through this portal, nor would I want to wait five more minutes while your friend's fate hangs in the balance. This is...a hard decision to make, and time is not on our side."

Noah nods looking grim and keeps her head down as she speaks.

"It's not an easy decision, I know, but know this. I am asking for two people when I only need one. If I take two, they will re cooperate quickly. Grab something to eat afterwards and all you'll feel is a little tired. That's how it was the last time I had to do this. The first 5 minutes were the worst of it, a little sluggish and yawning quite a bit, but that was it." She turned her pleading eyes on Jocun seeing that he overheard her dilemma.

She seemed sincere, so Jocun walked over towards her and held out his hand. "Alright. I'll do it. Time is of the essence, and all that."

Noah just shook her head and looked at Sami.

"I can't I need two people both at the same time. I can't store energy to use it at a later date. I need to know if Sami will too. If not, I need to find someone else." She kept her desperate eyes on Sami not wanting to have to ask a complete stranger to let her siphon energy off of them like some kind of leach.

Parker overhears Silver's conversation, and keeps it in his mind. He nods gratefully towards Gaz, thankful Thor is still okay. He turns back to Vogefac and replies, "Yes. I, like my bretheren are the most advanced soldiers in my species. I was taken as a child and raised as a soldier. When I was 16, I underwent a procedure that enhanced my body. I was then given his armor, which amplifies my abilities even more. When I'm paired with an Artificial Intelligence unit, it makes my reactions and thought processes even more sharpened and honed.

"We SPARTANs are the most feared 'warriors' in our galaxy. Our enemies, the Covenant, have deemed us the title of 'Demon'. I quite like the thought of our presence causing such affect with their forces, that it demoralizes them. To some of their soldiers, they view it as a challenge, but the lower classes just run away from us when we get close to them."

Parker tilts his head quizzically, "Why do you ask?" He grips his helmet, set by his side, fearing a challenge. He had no wish to fight, just being reunited with Silver.

Sami smiled and nodded at Noah once she was finally done talking with Jocun. She held out her hand. "I am completely willing to help, Noah. I cannot leave you in this state if you are better off in your human state." Her green eyes sparkled with a hint of magic as she stood up, letting her hand rest on Noah's hand. She may not like magic all that much, but she respected those that used it, especially since she herself was basically made up of magic, like all the other Changelings. "Healers on my planet use the life forces of weeds and other such things to help revive people. It is really quite simple. Using other people is not as simple, but I have been used before by the Healers, so I know what it feels like."

As Al and Salem continued to speak quietly, Salem found what he'd been rummaging for- a small, matte black device with green streaks, that looked something like a four-legged spider. He clamped it over his wrist and said something to it aloud, then went back to speaking to Al. After a few seconds, it emitted a short buzzing sound, and he removed it from his wrist, set it back on the bench, and flexed his wrist a few times- it appeared to be at least feeling better.

Finally, Salem shook his head, turned, and walked to one wall of the craft. "Fine," he said loudly to Al. "I'll talk to them. Just don't get your hopes up. I've never really seen either of us as the 'Knight in Shining Armor" type." He gently ran his hand along the wall, and a compartment opened in front of him- this one held what looked like a large helmet of metallic framework. He pulled it out and set it on his head, gently, where it began emitting a blue glow.

Al laughed, "Yeah, not sure shining armor's really a fashion statement I want to make at the moment."

Salem rolled his eyes, "You and your fashion... I'm sure there's some planet somewhere where shining armor is fashionable."

Al shook his head, "Nope. I've looked. Even when used as a status symbol, shining armor always just makes you look like a jerk."

Salem laughed, in spite of himself. "Okay, give me just a minute here, and we can go." The glow on the 'helmet' he'd been wearing died, and he placed it back in its compartment, which immediately closed, leaving no visible seam. He then pulled up his right pant leg, removed what looked like a gun made from copper pipe that he had strapped there, and began sending thought-speak commands to the ship, causing several displays to appear on the walls and ceiling near him. Most of them were writing, in the Atazin galactic language, but one in particular showed an abbreviated version of recent events in and around the bar, as viewed by his ship. Some of the more recent events began replaying, with colors and symbols and labels pointing out different people and actions that had taken place. Salem half payed attention as he continued to scroll through another wall of text and communicate with the computer via thought-speak.

Al, in the meantime, crossed his arms, leaned back against the 'workbench,' and smiled at Mar. "So how're things?"

Silver held the picture in her hand looking at her as a baby. Of course she didn't remember because of her age but she hadn't been taken from her parents untill she was roughly five years old. "Were you...always like this? I mean....Father is this way because of CG as am I...." she was slightly lost. She looked to Morgan then. "What is it you're. Keeping from me?" She was just reunited with Parker and her father and now her god-father she didn't want a fight on her hands but she knew something was wrong.

Noah's eyes brightened but didn't smile because she didn't want to frighten them off after they had just agreed to do something for her. She sat down and held out a paw to each of them being careful not to nick either of them. She took a deep breath and spoke before beginning.

"If either of you have any metaphysical guards up, please let them down. It will be much harder if you don't." She closed her eyes and let down her barriers with ease as if she were unclenching her hand. Her power flower out of her body and around her like rain in summer time. She breathed it inside her then let it flow out of her two front paws to mingle with their essence. She let her power roam inside of them caressing in places never meant to be touched by hands. It found the heart of their life energy and began to tug it back out of its safe cavern and out to the light. Where the skin met in each hand, it began to heat like a growing fire. It neared the edge of unbearable tipping on that fine line.

The energy shot up her arms like electricity, energizing her in the most satisfying way. Noah took in a ragged breath suffocating against the press of unused power. She let her body begin to shift back to human form. Her fur began to melt away, tucking itself back beneath her skin. Her jaw shortened, teeth shrinking as her facial features reshaped. Popping sounds started as the rest of her body began to change. Her body tried to reshape her torso and limbs but it began to slow for she was running low on power to supply it. Noah pulled at the heat in their hands taking as little as she could but enough to pull her through the shift. Slowly her hands regained their delicate shape and torso shrunk while her C cup breasts formed again. Her legs lengthened and returned to their bare and hairless origin.

Noah clung to their hands as she sat there on her knees panting letting the power reseed from their hands and back to the dark caverns they came from. She let her hands slip from theirs to help her balance before toppling over to the ground. Once her breath began to slow she looked up at them smiling, though, weak. Her eyes shined with unshed tears part from pain and joy of having it work.

"Thank you, truly thank you. Both of you." She mustered up enough energy to stand, though wobbly on just two feet instead of four. She exposed herself to the world by standing there nude, but she didn't care. It had worked and she was happy. Her hair was mildly matted from the blood of the creature and flakes of blood were stained on her face and neck. But her hair still hung forward and covered her breasts, though everything else was unprotected. She picked up her clothes and started to put them back on layer by layer. She secured her weapons in place and made sure they were snug. Noah stretched her body being a little stiff from the change. She smiled brilliantly and hugged them both in one swift motion.

"Thank you!!"

Morgan and Julian both looked confused, but for different reasons. To Morgan's knowledge, he wasn't hiding anything. But ever since Julian had appeared, there was a nagging feeling in the back of his mind that he couldn't identify.

"What's this about the CG now?" Julian asked. After Gaz explained everything, Julian was wide-eyed.

"Those bastards," Julian said quietly. "Morgan, those guys really did a number on you."

Morgan grunted. "Tell me about it."

"No," Julian said quickly. "You don't understand just how much they messed you up."

"What are you talking about?" Gaz asked.

Julian pulled out another photo, but didn't show it yet. He seemed hesitant at first, but then his mind seemed made up. He had to finish what he started.

"The CG did something to you, no mistake about that. But not what you think they did. What they did is worse than you know. I'm going to show you something. It's a picture of the two of us from University..."

"Will you get to the point?" Morgan interrupted.

Julian sighed before setting the picture down on the table. "We've known each other since we were kids. And as long as I've known you, Morgan...you've always looked the way you do. Always."

Jocun sat down as his energy fled him. It had been tireing, as Noah had said, but he would be ok. "You're welcome." He said as she thanked them. He avoided gazing at any body part she should have covered. "As soon as you're dressed, we should be ready to head through."

Vogefac shook his head, "No particular reason...but that is a very interesting autobiography. My entire race has undergone several genetic campaigns. I am one of the first specimens of Delta Generation, our third genetic enhancement. We too are the most feared warriors in our galaxy. Even the Alliance would rather not risk a fight with us, and their technology is...slightly more advanced than ours. And, during one of the battles in which Silver and I stood side by side, my legs and arms were eaten off. Now, my arms and legs were replaced with biocyber implants, metallic bones and claws with biological skin and muscle. Two foot claws are sufficient - two foot metallic claws are superior.", he finished, looking at his hand-claws.

"Perhaps we are not so disimilar.", he said.
