Salem briefly tensed up when Rathien's arm went around his shoulder, but as soon as he realized that he wasn't being attacked, he relaxed a bit, putting his arm around the hunter in turn. He was tempted to try to put the Ildari in a chokehold from this position, but physically, he was pretty sure he was not going to come out ahead.
He listened, curiously, as Mar spoke about 'killing a person who wasn't dreaming at all.' The being had to be talking about himself.
"You're one of the more interesting hunters I've met," he said with a grin to Rathien. "You speak of your fate and your little dream ending thing. I'm with him," he said with a nod towards Mar. "It won't end well for you."
Al nodded towards Rathien, "Good to see you again," he said, stone-faced.
The grin disappeared from Salem's face. He moved away from Rathien's arm and looked him in the eye, "What do you want, Ildari?"
