Animorphs Relaunch covers and updates

Well I hope that at least gets Michael Grant and K.A. to be a bit more assertive about keeping up on what is going on with Animorphs. I mean, I know Scholastic owns "the rights" but if the authors aren't able to put some input in... It is so counter productive.

LAME.. no offense but im just going to reread the others... so much cheaper... its probably going to die like her plan to take the series to 65 instead of 54... hate to be the wet blanket but it doesnt have vampires or wizards... so its not going to fly...

Then you obviously aren't very knowledgeable on the subject, seeing as how there are PLENTY of successful series' that have nothing to do with vampires or wizards. Not to mention that the sales figures for the already-released books have been VERY good kind of already shoots down your negative comments. Do a bit of research before deciding to be a downer debbie.

I've been wondering what or where can you see the sales figures for the relaunch? I've been really curious about it.

so since they got a new Marco model will he be the one on the first Marco book? or did they already print them up with the first model and will just use him for that book?

     I think they'll be using the first model, since he had a contract with scholastic prior to Hotlinkcoffee's little petition. Unless I'm mistaken, Scholastic changing models for the cover would e in violation of that contract.

No, it'll be changed. There's already pics of the new cover online if I'm not mistaken.

And it's not in violation of the contract because we don't know what the contract entails. Obviously it's not breaching it or they wouldn't have changed the model to begin with, so clearly there's something in the contract that allows them to switch them out. This is just my total guess, but I'd say that they probably still paid the original guy the agreed-upon sum of money regardless of using him or not.

     When you pick characters on the opening page at the official site, Marco's name is MARCO, and not MARC, like before.

The covers-they are pretty cool
KASU fixing! Somebody does care

Things I don't like
No inset scene/picture
No flip morphing in the corner
The price: 12 NZD!

Neutral:
The color scheme
Not as creative as the original imo, but not too bad-probably look better in a larger set

i so like the old covers better,but atleast they changed the KASU s and stuff

i hate how they took out the flip-the-page-and-watch-the-book-morph thing and the cover quote and the inside cover and its too expensive now.$8.00 for one book, i think it might be the new cover but its still too expenstve for a 180 so paged book

Yeah I wish they had kept the covers how they were but just with different models. They aren't that hard to do
