I love the lenticular covers, but I feel like you have to hold the book at a really weird angle to see the starting and ending images clearly.  Did anyone else see that?

Sometimes if you look at the book directly from the side or upside-down in the right light, you can see the complete and whole end image(s).
Additionally, you can get the individual images if you press "Print Screen" on your keyboard at just the right moments here:

It'd be nice if Scholastic released the animations for #2 and future books as well. I'd love to make more of these things.

Neat. Not updated everywhere on the site, but the programmers will figure that out eventually. He looks kinda buff, lol! As for his hair, it actually looks like it might be in a pony-tail or something.

He is kinda buff, but I don't think many ladies will complain about this, lol. And I think it actually works well with Marco's ego in the books about how good looking he knows he is. (Nice catch with the pony-tail btw. Hopefully we'll see it in a side-view on the cover.)

I thought at first that he was the tallest in the group, but he's just a bit shorter than Jake, and almost at height with Rachel (though it's hard to tell with the way she's posing). Either way though, I'm happy with the new choice.

....I hate to be that guy but I'm not liking this new new model either. Sure this Marco looks Hispanic but now he looks like a grown man! I keep looking back to make sure I'm not exaggerating but...there's no way this guy could pass for anything younger than 17 or 16. And why is he so tall!? It seems like they made Marco look like how he pictures himself and not how others see him lol. And here I thought Tobias would be the hardest one to get right

No, I totally agree. Skin color aside, I like the other model way more and personally never had a problem with that one.

You know, it could be just of how when the webmasters got the pics of how they HAD to size them to make the page look like that.

Don't get picky. At least we got the right ethnic look for Marco. <.<
