While I'm really glad that people like the ranking system I came up with, it was just something I thought of that we could use in the event that the current system was thrown out altogether.  Like, if the current system was going to be replaced anyway, I might as well have a hand in the system that replaces it, you know?  But I still have to side with Richard on this.  I really like the system we have.  If nobody else has a problem with it, I say keep it the way it is.

I voted "No" as it's never bugged me or anything. I can understand why some people may take offense to it, but it's just a forum rank.

If it must be changed, DN's ranks are as good as the ones we have now, plus they're Animorphs-related too.

AGREED!

I am strongly against changing all of the ranks. We have had these ranks since the beginning (with some MINOR changes here and there), and I would hate to see them changed after so long.

Also, changing the ranks to the Animorphs ones seems kinda "amateur" if that is the right word. What I mean is that if someone created an Animorphs forum and was a HUGE animorphs fanatic, themed ranks would be expected. (I was a member of a harry potter one way back when and that was the case. very annoying)

Just my opinion again. Change only the God rank please, don't change them all.

I agree with you there, Adam. I like the rest of the ranks.. I'm just a bit queasy about the 'god' one. But I guess, since I'll never get to it, I'll just shut up about it.

Yes, Animorphs themed would be sweet! But i think it'd just be confusing for a bit, and we have to remember this is Richard's Animorph's Forum, so it is his decision to change the ranks, and if he decides that its a great idea and changes it, well than lets go for it!
But like he said, he would have changed it by now..

Also, "God" doesn't necessarily bother me, but i know it offends some people, so to courtesy of them, i'd say, yes. Lets change it. Even though i said no on the poll. Sometimes a little change is good.. But a drastic change.. no.

(Oh also, Richard, if you decide to go with Animorphs themed Positions, I'd definitely keep Staff, Gold members, Donators and banned positions the same)

Thanks just my opinion.  :P

i think the fact that ONE person let alone the 9 who have voiced their opinions think that the god position should be changed is enough.

If it personally offends people it should not be kept, this may be Richard's Animorphs Forum, but its for all of us
