Okay, Introverted, is that better? I was actually looking for Introverted originally, but couldn't think of it, so I said Esoteric instead.

Esoteric means like close, protected, obscure knowledge. Like stuff that a very select group of people know.

I've never heard it used as "introverted" before.

Esoteric is also a personality trait.
Same basic meaning: close, protected, and obscure; except in the field of one's interaction with society.
