Damien took  Reece's hand, hesitantly,"Uh... hi,"he was obvious he was uncomfortable now. His shaking stopped and all evidence of fear was gone. He wasn't used to people paying attention to him, maybe he shouldn't let his emotions get the better of him, any emotion, happiness, fear, anger, sadness, led to trouble. He looked over at Brit and quickly adverted his eyes. He began walking to the far corner ignoring everyone else aorund him. Leaning against the wall he sat down, his head in his hands. "Something is wrong here..."he muttered.

Kasey yawns, and shoves her phone back in her pocket. She approaches Damien and Reece. "Damien, right? You live next door to me."

Greg looked less than enthused to see that Brit had caught up with them.
"Oh, wonderful." He recovered, but quickly turned and faced forward. "Have you considered coming to the meet tonight?  I was hoping to have a demonstration and I admit, I'm a bit nervous on whether or not it will flop."

Greg slowed, looking at the door they had approached.

"You kids these days are hard to predict.  Hate to make the whole presentation bomb because you think its 'so last year'.  "

Torrence

Greatly concerned about Damien's state of mind, Torrence shot her friend a grateful look at her approach.

"So you guys are neighbors?"  She chose a hopefully safe topic. "Awesome. Either of you like racquetball?"  She glanced between the two young men.  "Cause I signed us-"  She gestured to Kasey.
"- up for it and chasing a ball all night is not so much fun. I mean, if your worried about this place, we should check it out, right?  Call Fox news if somethings off."

Damien sighed, why won't people leave him alone, he never had this problem before. "I never played before..."he said and glanced at Kasey. "Yeah, I do..."he said and stared at the floor, his answers seemed to be in random order.

A woman had walked behind Damien and tapped him on the shoulder. Behind the woman was a man holding a four year old.

Damien turned around to see his mother, father, and sister. "Hello sweetie,"said the teen's mom. Damien merely nodded. "I wanted to show you something along with your dad and sister,"she then noticed the two girls,"Would you like to come too?"

Kasey eyes up Damiens parents and frowns. She grabs his arm. "We were actually just about to play raquetball." She begins to pull him towards the raquetball courts.

Damien's dad smiled,"Alright we'll see you later tonight!"he called out waving to Damien. His mom on the other hand seemed shocked and confused.

"But-"she began to say.

"Oh come on honey, Damien never is hanging out with anyone, he seems to have made some friends,"he said brightly.

Damien didn't fight Kasey's grip on his arm, but he did protest once his parents were out of earshot,"What are oyu doing, let go,"he said still not fighting since that would have just caused a scene.

Kasey immediately drops his arm, and grumbles. "You're welcome. Forgive me for assuming you want to hang with your parents all night." She continues to grumble under her breath for a few more moments. "If this is they way this thing is going to go, I'm gonna be outta here sooner than I thought."

"Probably." Autumn grinned slightly, tension easing off her like water rolling off a ducks back. "Well, if you sure, then alright, count me in." Autumn glanced between Greg and Sandra before hearing another voice, jumping slightly since she wasn't expecting anyone else to be around, but it was quite the relief. "With you there, everything will be perfect!" Autumn joked, patting him on the back. "Seriously, it'll be good though." Hoping her joke didn't offend him, she offered her hand. "Autumn, if you didn't catch that before." This time she turned to Greg, frowning a little bit. "I'm sure it'll be fine, we kids are hard to predict, but generally, if we like what we hear, you will know within seconds. If you don't mind, gonna head back to Torrence." She had hoped, even wished that she got the girls name right, "we are meant to be playing racquetball." Grabbing for Brit's hand, she didn't exactly want to leave without him, there was something comforting about him. "Coming Sandra?" With that, she turned and started heading back to the others.

"No problem."  Greg smiled, although there seemed to be a genuine regret in his voice.  "Was hoping you'd want a peek, but you'll see this later."

He opened the door and turned to shove the projectors into the room.  As Autumn turned, she saw two people (Damien's parents) enter through the 'Employees Only' door.  Upon seeing them, Greg straightened and glanced behind them expectantly.

Damien's mother offered only a shrug, although she eyed Autumn, Brit and Sandra with curiosity. Her hand hesitated on the door a moment, but she and Damien's father crossed the hall towards Greg.

Anyone trying the door would find it locked, essentially trapping Brit, Autumn, Sandra and the couple who just entered in the corridor with Greg.

Brit grinned widely as Autumn pulled him through the corridor towards the door. Passing two unfimiliuer adults on the way. “Racquetball?? What’s that we didn’t have it in England“. He paused for a few seconds as he thought about it. “Or if we did it was called something else“.
Brit tried not to notice how warm Autumn’s hand were, and hoped his weren’t sweaty or anything. “You know Autumn you don’t have to be so nervous around everyone“. He whispered, low enough so only she could hear. “We’re all friends here, even Kasey. I think you an her just got off on the wrong foot”. He paused for a second.
“Possibly the left one…”

[GM:
Just a mention that the door marked 'Employees Only' is locked, meaning Brit, Autumn and Sandra can not open it to reach the others]

"Damien, you can't blame us for wanting to keep your folks from Twilight Zoning in on you," Reece jeers. "They seem nice enough, but I mean... c'mon, surely you didn't actually want to spend a Friday night with them?" He looks towards where Sandra left from, before shooting her a text message and heading off for the racquetball courts with the others, staying near the front of the mob.

"Maybe after the game we can go for a dip in the pool- think this place has suits you can rent?" he asks.

*************
Sandra tries to hide a smile as she observes Brad and Autumn holding hands. Her phone rings with the arrival of a new text, but as she flips it open the battery dies. "Aw, farts," she mutters. A chill goes up her spine as the Pod-Parents pass by. "Racquetball sounds ultra-sweet. Better than sticking around in this hallway, at least, right? Maybe we can catch up with the others." She grabs the door handle. It doesn't go. She jiggles again, harder. "Aw farts!" she repeats.

"It's-" Autumn was about to explain when the parents walked in, getting a creepy chill down her spine as she stood back, gripping onto Brit's hand tighter, hoping he wouldn't let go. It wasn't that she was scared, she just didn't want to be alone, by herself. "Yea, well, good reason to be." Autumn whispered back, staring at Brit. "Things happen you know, and yea, probably." A snicker came from her lips as she straightened up, hearing Sandra speak and the sound of the door jiggling, which meant one thing. "Locked in?" Her eyes arched, surprise littered her face. "Why is the door locked?" Autumn snarled, turning onto the adults. "I hate being trapped, I hate it." The girl was freaking out a bit more, being trapped, was worse than death. Little did she know that she would have a new thing that was worse than death. If it comes down to it, I'll fight. We have to get out of here, Autumn thought, eyes flashing.

Sandra puts a hand on Autumn's shoulder. "Hey kids, rest easy. I'm sure it's a mistake, we'll be out freezy as birds in no time, yeah?" She shoots a glance at the Pod Parents. "You guys know a way out of here, right?"

"It worked just fine when we came through." Damien's mother remarked, as she and damien's father had reached Greg.

"That door sticks sometimes." Greg said knowingly.  "The lock in the handle pops out if you close it to hard.  There's a pin we use to pop it open... let me see if I can find it."

He heads into the room that he'd pushed the projectors into.

"Shouldn't we wait with the kids?" Damien's father wondered as Damien's mother entered the room after Greg.  She said something that the others couldn't quite catch.  The father gave the kids a reassuring smile and followed his wife into the large room.

The door stood open.  After a moment or two, the soothing sounds of a sauna could be heard.
