Reece narrows his eyes at Kasey, before putting an arm around Damien's shoulders in a conspiratorial pose. "C'mon Damien, don't let frizzy here get to you. We'll try some Racquetball, it'll be a good time. I can introduce you to some people around here. Maybe a few girls, even." He offers him a big grin. "Eh? How's that sound?"

Kasey glares at Reece, "Don't let this idiot suck you in, or you'll end up just like the rest of those drones."

"Oh, and you're so goddamned Indy now? What is this? Damien, my friends aren't drones. Take Sandra, she'd never let anyone tell her what to do- believe me." Reece pauses, distracted. "Point is, you can get griped at and accused all evening, or you can hang out with me, and we'll all have a swell time. And if we don't, hell, I'll get you an ice cream or something to make up for it."

Damien bit his lip when Kasey called him weird... he knew it was true, that was why he kept to himself... but it still hurt... The other reason he didn't like to talk to people was because he just, didn't fit in with anyone, he was in his own separate cliche. "I-I uh... guess..."Damien said... maybe something new would get his mind off this paranoia.
That'sssss a very nice possssst you have there... It'd be a sssshame if something happened to it...

Kasey continues to glare at Reece "I've never claimed be be Indy. I've never offered to be his friend. He obviously doesn't want to be here, so I offered him an out. I'm pretty sure ice cream isn't going to convince him to be your friend. That doesn't work past the age of five, Reece. Get off my back, and stop trying to force the kid to do something he doesn't want to do. You're such an a**hole."

Reece throws his hands up. "Whoa there, let's take a damn breather here. I'm just trying to help. And 'the kid' has a name. It's Darren!" Reece shouts indignantly. He pauses. "Oh, you know what I mean."

"Right, I... ****, sorry man," Reece says. "Slip of the tongue, honest. And look, I understand if you don't want to play Racquetball, but I do think you'll have a better time if you do."

Kasey sighs, "Nice, Reece." She moves away from Damien and Reece, "I'm going to go watch racquetball. You're welcome to join me if you'd like, Damien."

"Pft. I wish. I'd rather be snout-deep in dog anus than listening to you, toots." Reece winked at Kasey, but then turned to regard Damien. It was hard not to feel bad for the kid. Once, at The Gardens, Reece had seen a fledgling ostrich hatch from its shell. It was wet, naked, and completely aghast at the prospect of existence. It looked slightly more at-ease than Damien did right now.

"Well, I mean, we are surrounded by highschool kids," Reece reassures him. "Acting is half the battle at our age."

Sandra flops about. She's a smaller gal- physically fit, but short, and not accustomed to physical confrontation. She tries to scream, tears coming from her eyes.

The two adults frog walk Sandra over to the chair, a hand tightly clasped over her mouth. Damien's father, John, begins to look around, his face blank and expressionless to Sandra's predictament.
Greg guides her down into the chair with surprising gentleness, placing Sandra's arms upon the arms of the chairs and strapping her down with the padded cloth restraints.
"Almost over, dear." Mary murmured into Sandra's ear, one hand remaining over her mouth.  "Every thing is about to become a great deal better."

"Here." Greg stepped away from a nearby roll away storage unit, something grasped in his hand.  Mary removed her hand for one brief moment of freedom before sliding a cloth gag over Sandra's mouth.
"Just one more minute..." Mary assured, spinning Sandra's chair and aligning it beside the sauna.
Sandra felt a jolt as Mary tilted the chair, lowering her head towards the sauna.  Dark shapes seemed to writhe beneath the water, one coming towards Sandra...

Greg palmed a small object and stepped into the corridor.  He smiled at Brit and Autumn as he showed the item in his hand- a small key.

"Look what I found!"

"It took you long enough" Brit laughed.  He moved away from the door so Greg could get passed. "So where's Sandra" he asked, "In the sauna?". He laughed good natuerd at his own joke.

Sandra swishes her head about as much as she can in the pool, but strong adult arms keep her head in place. She closes her eyes, her screams completely muffled by hands and water.

Cut Scene

The two teenagers were reunited with Sandra who seemed fine despite her momentary disappearance.  Greg unlocked the 'stuck' door, allowing them to reunite with the people waiting in reception- Kasey, Reece, Damien, Alice and Torrence.

Greg followed them out and announced that the Sharing Meeting was about to start- and would they like to come?  If they followed Greg, they discovered that the Auditorium was already packed- and that they had to grab the crappy seats by the door in the back.  The Meeting started off strong- mentioned that the caterers had set up for dinner, the games would be running all night until seven the next morning- and then they started talking about belonging.

Glancing around you, you can see several people affected by the charismatic speaker.  They must be lonely or isolated or feeling unimportant.  Soon, the speaker was asking if any one would like to come forward and become a full member- and you watched in surprise as droves of people stood and started walking up the aisle.

Perhaps this was a bit too much like Bible camp for you and you ducked out or you just really needed to use the bath room.  Ducking out of the auditorium, you headed towards the bathrooms.  You quickly notice that no ones about- and if you try the front door, you find the doors are locked. Having watched someone lock the doors, Eddie sighed dejectedly and slowly wheeled himself off to the carpark.
The group split up as they headed in or perhaps decided to check for a way out. As you finished your business and were about to head out- you stopped.

There was someone crying in the hall.

Opening the door, you see a girl hurrying up the hall. Her hair is wet and dishieveled and her tear stained cheeks suggest she's crying. Before you can act, you see someone else- a severe looking woman- catch up with her and grab her by the arm.

"How'd she escape the pool?" Another person, a young man - asked as he walked up the corridor. The three don't seem to see you.
"There hasn't been enough time to set up all the security measures, Sub Visser." The woman said anxiously.
"Get her back to the Pool." The man said coldly. "I designated this one for my allies and I intend-"

He stopped speaking.

You peek out of the bath room door.

Kasey- perhaps looking for a way out one of the windows by Reception- had been spotted.
"Take her," The young man ordered, indicating Kasey. "- to the Pool."

Alice was saddened to realize there was nothing she could do to save the girl with the wet hair - She had already been recaptured.
When she realized Kasey was about to meet the same fate, however, she thought there might just be a slim chance to help her escape without either of them being recognized.
At the most opportune time, Alice tried to gain Kasey's attention without the controllers noticing; "Psst! Over here! - Quickly!"

As Alice began whispering to Kasey, the Controllers who were much closer to Alice than Kasey was, turned and looked at her- and appeared very shocked to see her.

Kasey stares open-mouthed for a second at the controllers, then again at Alice. She begins to sweat almost instantly, then retorts unsurely, "Can't you see I've already been to the pool? Worry about how she got away." She gestures at the girl with the wet hair, then turns on her heel, and attempts to walk away.

"I'm glad to be out, but where is Sandra?" Autumn muttered to Brit, walking with him. Feeling a connection with him, not a love connection, but one of friendship. "Should we find her?" Autumn began walking, seeing the amount of people in the auditorium, her mouth slightly agape. "Anymore people and I'm gonna get claustrophobic." Muttering, Autumn didn't know if she should take a seat, or try and find Sandra, where ever she was. The other girl was going to miss what was going to happen.
