"Well..." Trey frowns, faltering slightly, "I don't know. My dad never told me his full plan, only that it was important to get to the old homeworld. And...he wanted to get a morphing cube too, although I'm not sure why. It's not like it would work on him." Trey shrugs, looking at a loss.

Terenia smiles a bit, at the mention of growing tomatoes underground, but decides to respond to the first part of his statement instead, <You know, Star Wars always terrified me as a kid. My big brother would run around with his plastic lightsaber, trying to beat me upside the head with it. It was a blue one, too, so I always thought Luke was the bad guy.>
She falls into silence for a moment, still feeling slightly uncomfortable. Perhaps it is the way that the space seems so confined, or the fact that Efaen is still oozing smugness. Or maybe it's just because she is unarmed and, for once, feels unthreatened.
<You don't mind if I morph human, do you?> She asks, beginning the morph before he has a chance to answer. She hopes that the familiarity of the human body will help to straighten out her confusion. As she morphs she tries to follow some of Efaen's advice, as odd as that feels to her, and asks Corliss about himself, <Myitt and yourself. You are...rather close, aren't you? I didn't know Yeerk siblings ever got that close. There's so many, and all.> Once again Terenia feels that pang of guilt, knowing that if the Mirage fails to return it may be because of her.
