Belzar hadn't done much in a while. At first glance it seemed another mechanoid had walked in earlier, but scanning showed it was really just a Human in a suit. No Yeerk in his head either. He was somewhat bored again, but at least things were quiet again. Quiet was good.

Temrash took a glace at Keiko's table, and noticed she was gone. He didn't think anyone expected to keep an eye on her, but it might be best to know where she was. Her mental state might not be the most stable. He got up and stepped out the door to scan the area and see if he could locate her.

(I don't know if Thor would pick up on Belzar scanning Parker, but it might be interesting having two robots interact with each other.)

((Well, as your post suggests that he scanned him as he entered the bar, and it's been quite a long time since Parker's entered the bar, let's just say that Thor made a note of it, but as the scan wasn't invasive, he let it alone.))

(Yeah, it has kind of been a while. I just then thought of doing that, though. Meh.)

Salem opened his hand, revealing a large yellow-orange gemstone, a little over an inch in diameter. "Ennish protection gem. As a pacifist, I thought you might appreciate it, and as someone who can channel energy, you might be able to use it better than I can. When I hold it, I can sense changes in the world around me, but it's designed for mages. It's supposed to be able to prevent changes- harm in particular. It's supposedly effective out to about five meters. This one's medium quality and artificial- easier to use, but not as powerful. The pure, high-powered natural ones take a lifetime to be able to use. I think you could just put some energy through it and concentrate on something, and it would be... relatively safe from harm, with almost no effort on your part. And hey," he smiled, "if it doesn't work for you, you could always give it to someone you care about. Or stick it in a ring."

He glanced at Al. "Lookin' good. I need to get out of this thing," he muttered, indicating his camo-jumpsuit.

Looking back at Thordon, he held out the gem. "What do you say? Think an ascended being would have any use for this?"

Thordon reached out and picked up the gem, "I can't see how, however I wouldn't be so rude as to refuse a gift of gratitude. Especially after you searched so thoroughly for it." He placed the small stone in his pant pocket and asked, "You mentioned something about a Hope drive needing recharging?"

(Trying to think of what else to do with my characters. I had something backstory related for Morgan and Fletcher. Should think of something for Gaz or Asda so they're not left out. lol.)

While Gaz and Morgan were talking about something, Andromeda ventured over to the bar to get herself something. She was wearing a blue dress and her brown hair was down.

She walked over to the bartender and laid down some money and said, "This may seem like an odd request, but I would like a glass of lemonade."

Andromeda waited while the bartender got her drink.

((Has The Director responded to Trey, Parker? I haven't seen anything since he last spoke...))

<The Hork-Bajir war? You've been-> Terenia pauses as her mouth forms fully, completing the morph. She licks her lips, softening them, before continuing verbally, "You've been around awhile then, haven't you?"

While she waits for an answer she moves over to the bag that had contained the portable Yeerk Pool components. Fishing around for a moment she comes up with her holster, two Dracon's and the power packs that she had removed before leaving Efaen. With practiced hands, much more dexterous than Efaen's, she loops the belt around her waist and cinches it over her leotard.

"Did you think that?" she asks as she fits the energy weapons back into their holsters, "That you were mad?"

Salem glanced at his ship. "Ugh. 'Needs' might be a bit excessive. I have other means of propulsion that don't have a chance of utterly disrupting my life when I use them, but it is nice to have ready. It's up here," he said, walking up the ramp into his spaceship and pointing to a silver spherical object connected to a number of smaller spheres by clear tubes, located just above the ramp. Al followed, hanging a ways behind. Pointing to some of the spheres, he said, "As far as I can tell, there's a small power source in each of these lobes. I don't know how much one jump empties them, but they take a few weeks to recover on their own."

"Sorry for the mess," Al said, kicking aside some of the junk. "We haven't had a chance to pick up since genius here landed us in a lake."

((Oops, sorry, I missed that one.))

The Director contemplated what Trey had said for a moment, "Does your father's planet have any reserves of weapons they can use? The way it sounds, your father's species fights by using others. So what awaits you on that planet that would turn the tide of war? I mean if your father didn't tell you his plans, then what do you expect to do when arrive at his planet?"

Thordon followed Tobias and observed the object he was pointing to, "I'll see what I can do." Thordon stood next to the Hope drive and began gesturing with just his top pair of hands, his bottom pair were folded behind him. Thordon’s gestures start in a wide circle. Slowly he starts to tighten it, making the circle smaller. His hands begin to glow faintly once more. Thordon’s gestures get tighter still; the glow intensifies, spreading from his hands to his torso. His gestures become small and concentrated in front of his chest; his entire body begins to glow. He slowly cups his hands creating a tunnel, putting fingertips to the heel of his hands and centering his hands over his heart; his glow fades from his limbs and now concentrates solely in his chest. Thordon slowly twists his hands so that his hands’ heels meet and he opens his hands as if a dragon opening its jaws as he pushes his arms straight in front of him, extending towards the device. At that moment a stream of golden energy travels from his heart, to the heels of his hands and then touches the Hope drive. He stays in that pose waiting for the drive to fill. Since he sees no visible gauge as to measure its capacity, Thordon must slow his charge in order to feel the moment the drive is full so he can stop before overloading the machine.

Trey considers The Director's question for a moment, a crease forming in between his eyebrows as he tried to work through what his father's plans might have been.

"Well," he says, scratching the back of his head, which only adds to his look of puzzlement, "I doubt there are any real weapons of any sort on the Homeworld. The Andalites have a quarantine on the planet, so they would have all of the firepower. The Yeerks weapon has always been a combination of infiltration and sheer numbers. They multiply like crazy, and with a host they are virtually undetectable. But all the Yeerks on the Homeworld are unhosted. Most of them have never been off the planet, or even had a host at all."

The Director becomes even more confused at this last statement, "So if the Andalites have the planet under quarantine: Firstly, how do you expect to make it onto the planet safely? Secondly, How do plan to get off the planet safely? Thirdly, what exactly could one human arriving to a planet full of parasites and few hosts do to change the war?" The Director wipes his forhead from the frustration of this lost human, "I doubt that you'd get anywhere near that planet without inspection. If you get inspected, what's your stated reason for going there? A single human child in a space ship? They're not going to just let you land. If you do land, what do you think you'll do, relocate some of the parasites? How do you expect to leave the planet without inspection? You're plan isn't a plan, mate. It's a wild goose chase that ends in your death."

Al watched, awed, as Thordon gestured and began to fill the drive. After a moment, Salem sidled up next to him and nudged him. "How you doing?" he asked quietly.

Al shook himself slightly and responded, just as quietly, "not bad. I was worried I'd be down there for a while."

"Is that why you're using this thing?" Salem asked, nudging him again to indicate his body.

Al shrugged. "I was bored. Figured I'd work on that PPS of yours. Is this how he got me out?" he nodded towards Thordon.

Salem nodded. "Looks to be an immortal with some impressive energy channeling abilities. I got a reading." he patted the rectangular button-covered device now at his belt. "No idea what to make of it. I'll let you check it out later. I'm useless for these things."

Al grinned and seemed about to say something, but Salem stepped up next to Thordon as he finished charging the drive and said, "thanks again. I hope you don't mind if I change into something less ridiculous." He stepped into a door nearby leading to a smaller room and shut the door before Thordon could answer.

Al let out a low whistle. "Awesome. Should we head for that bar then?" he asked Thordon.

Thordon pulled his arms in, closing his hands together. As his fingertips met, the beam withdrew back into his heart. He flattened his hands together and brought them to his chest, as though he were praying. He twisted his hands on their heels in opposite directions so that his arms laid flat on each other. He then slid them apart and laid them by his side. He opened his eyes and they shone blue brightly for a moment before fading to their normal appearance. He turned to Al with a bright smile, "It's been a while since I've been able to help others. I almost forgot how it felt. This place has so much negativity, it seems to be effecting me. Thank you for reminding me of my purpose. Yes, let's go back inside."

~~Sorry I have been gone guys, didn't mean to be gone that long, but with school and my job...Ugh I was exhausted.~~

She blushed a moment and wasn't sure how to respond to Parker's comment, and she was saved by it when Kenshin asked him a question. he went through his suit description and she couldn't help but smile. "I don't hink I could ever get used to something like that. Helpful, yes very much so, but I m used to going light-weight." she said with just a slight teasing.

~Keiko~
She had wandered outside and had walked around looking at all of the greenery around her. It was such a difference from what she was used to, it had been years since she had been placed on that ship. she looked up at the open sky, sat near a tree and just took all of it into her. It was peaceful, though her hearing, which seemed a little more enhanced now, had picked up soemthing off in the distance. it was a sound like something crashing and someone yelling "Ow!", but she shrugged it off.

Corliss smiles and looks down at the metal floor, not used to talking about himself this way.  "Yeah, reckon I have, then.  Since the Sixties, man.  Far out?"  He flashes a peace sign, and then his smile turns sheepish.

He watches Terenia arm herself properly and shrugs in response.  "Sometimes I wonder if we aren't still out of our gourds," he adds quietly.

<Could we 'ave another look at the bird in the leotard, mate?> Mike says cheekily while Corliss has looked away, lost in thought.

<Cool it, will you please?>

<Not sure it's all me, Cor, she is yeh gehlfriend,> Mike chides.
