"Hrm," Myitt murmurs, "well, yes, hanging around this place is a calculated risk for those of us trying to avoid the Empire.  You're right, though, she is dangerous.  Not to mention pretty crazy."  She sighs.  "Yeah, let me check storage.  I might have something, although...I'm not sure if it'll fit your human form.  Tara's a bit shorter than you.  We'll give it a try."

She stalks across the cabin toward the storage room and disappears inside it, leaving Corliss and Terenia alone.

Corliss clears his throat. 

"So," he says after a few seconds of awkward silence.

"I do not take orders from you, Temrash," Hadrin snaps, gingerly peeling back the cloth of his uniform's arm.  "May I remind you that former Visser or not, we are no longer members of the Yeerk Empire."

[Chad32]

"Maybe I still have a bit of Visser left in me. I really don't like people pointing dracons at me and calling me a fool. Let's just wait until Ossanlin comes. He should be here any second."

Temrash went back to his chair and sat down to watch Keshin. He also watched Salem.

((Hey, Chad, is there a spot in Temrash's ship near Keshin where Salem could realistically expect to hide a small object? Because I'm sort of picturing it as a fairly empty, smooth-walled craft, and that wouldn't work at all for what I have in mind.))

(Well, we're in the main room of the craft, which is just the pilot's station and some space behind it for guests. There are also rooms in the back. Realistically there could be a couple of chairs for sitting because many controllers have hosts that use chairs. Depending on the item, you could stick it to the underside of the chair, or just between the chair and the opposite wall and hope no one gets at the right angle to notice it.)

The Director purses his lips and sweeps his head as he says,  "Well, you need a way home, and I can get you there. I can tell you're antsy to find out what happened to the two in the fray, so if you ever need safe passage, I can offer you just that."


Parker gave Silver a small, relieved smile while nodding his head and asked, "So how do you feel now?" He holds up his right hand showing three fingers, and raises her hand in his left asking with narrow, playful eyes, "How many fingers am I holding up?"

She gave a smirk then laughed and pkayfully said "twelve." She giggled again as she held his hand.

Parker smiled and said laughingly, "Aww, you're no fun." He lifted her hand to his face and gave her hand a kiss. He said, keeping her hand to his mouth, "So do you think you can go out and about again? A friend of mine may be in danger. I'd like to be available to help, but I won't leave your side if you're not well enough. I'm not trying to make you feel obligated, I just want you to know you take priority."

"As long as I take things slow and nothing to bad happens I should be good." She said smiling. "Do you mind if I tag along for a while?"

(I wasn't paying much attaention to Silver and Parker, but did they reenter the bar? If Cody saw them, he'd want to make a comment.)

(I can see it now. The nut jumps onto Claxter's back with a giddyup to go to where Parker is. Comedy gold, yes?)

((Waiting for Ossanlin's post for Mar. Poor guy is really busy all the time. ))

Keshin quietly states, "I have no idea why you're helping me exactly, but by all means make an attempt. I do have an idea of my own, but even if I use it I doubt Temrash will let me go.  Though Hadrin would. That's the problem I have with it."

Keshin then remains quiet while the two argue. He's hoping that Salem will respond in thought-speak, as he doesn't want to risk the two of them overhearing them. Although Hadrin is quite distracted by the fact that Temrash tried to slice off his arm. If this argument turns ugly, it's actually all the better for Keshin.

(Yeah, things are bound to grind down until Oss gets a chance to post. Even if Keshin does get out before Oss posts again, I'd like to still wait for him to have a chance before it gets out of hand.)
