Despite my lack of skills at writing a book, I don't think the desire will ever go away. It occurred to me that maybe I can write down what happens to Claxter in the RP, though I'm not sure if it's really practical. I suppose I could always just link to the Rogue Element thread, and possibly page 339 in the GESB archive as a prologue to RE. Does it seem od for me to consider just writing like a fanfic about what happens in our RP from Claxter's perspective?
Thought I replied to this, sorry >.< Anyway, I think a fanfic about the RP sounds like a great idea ^_^ I'm actually doing that for bits of Salem's story-- his time so far at the GESB is included. As such, if you decide you want to do that, I can give some advice. See, RPs are fun, and great writing practice in their own right, but I've found that they translate pretty poorly to a book-style narrative, if you do it directly. There's a lot of dialogue and a lot of minor events in an RP that go nowhere, and we actually spend an awful lot of time restating and rediscussing the same things. Also, there's this tendency for us to hesitate for like twenty pages before any action happens.
Basically, what I'm saying is-- don't be afraid to take liberties, cut or change or re-order minor events and dialogue. The GESB makes for a great RP, but not a very good book without some help
