Well, this is thoroughly bizarre. Claxter and Ossanlin are engaged in a tactically complicated discussion about my two main characters....while they are not in the room. That's....very rarely ever happened before, but it's certainly interesting to watch.
Of more than passing interest is why Keshin and Joanne choosing to morph out given the opportunity to form a new body would even be a plausible result. It's pretty clear from previous encounters that what's wrong with them is genetic, mainly because there's no other way for it to happen. Having the morphing power in general therefore wouldn't cure them--- they'd still need the medicine and they'd still be dying every time they reverted back. Morphing every two hours for the rest of your life and risking death every time you demorph versus never having to go through this hell again? I'd take door number two.
Then again, it may be that given the crazy stuff Ossanlin's experienced with them, he rightly asserts that their actions are completely unpredictable and that they'd betray him if they had the chance. He can't be too sure of even their logic given that they attacked Terenia in a Bar full of rebels and expected to get away with it.
Okay now I'm having fun psychoanalyzing everybody. Ramble over. X)
