Ask not why Eleric has the hots for Efaen. Ask why Aetheas doesn't.

Well, this is thoroughly bizarre. Claxter and Ossanlin are engaged in a tactically complicated discussion about my two main characters....while they are not in the room. That's....very rarely ever happened before, but it's certainly interesting to watch. ;)

Of more than passing interest is why Keshin and Joanne choosing to morph out given the opportunity to form a new body would even be a plausible result. It's pretty clear from previous encounters that what's wrong with them is genetic, mainly because there's no other way for it to happen. Having the morphing power in general therefore wouldn't cure them--- they'd still need the medicine and they'd still be dying every time they reverted back. Morphing every two hours for the rest of your life and risking death every time you demorph versus never having to go through this hell again? I'd take door number two.

Then again, it may be that given the crazy stuff Ossanlin's experienced with them, he rightly asserts that their actions are completely unpredictable and that they'd betray him if they had the chance. He can't be too sure of even their logic given that they attacked Terenia in a Bar full of rebels and expected to get away with it.

;) Okay now I'm having fun psychoanalyzing everybody. Ramble over. X)

I guess it kind of depends on how much the morphing reverses it, and how quickly the onset would start. If demorphing would make them feel as bad as they do now, I doubt it would be worth it.

The bar is weird about how sometimes a whole group of people will jump in to defend someone they don't even know.

Yeah, Terenia was as confused about that as I was. XD

And hell, the characters were equally confused. ;) For all we know, in canon the Bartender set it up because It wanted to cause mass chaos. <3

When all else fails, blame the bartender.

Obviously an exorcism is in order. We need some crosses, holy water, and anything else we can find. We'll all join hands and chant "The power of Christ compels you!" until the piano is exorcised. Or until it eats us all.

That sounds like something for a religious character to undertake :P

Holy crap, I've just passed Tamora's death in my reread/rewrite of the Bar, as well as the part where Claxter FREAKING VAPORIZES CODY AND SUKOHN! We have more on-screen death than I realized.

Hey, would anyone mind if Salem threw a little twist into Rogue Element from afar?

Cody and...oh yeah. I remember those two. They were kind of fun. It surprised me when Ossanlin was willing to let Myitt get killed just so tamora wouldn't get away. I wonder what would have happened if I had my controller wait before revealing his weapon.

Don't forget Justin and Hadrin. They died on screen too.

So much death!

Yeah, can't forget them. They're the focus of one of my upcoming chapters. All those deaths in such a short timespan...

Oddly, it occurs to me that we don't have an outright religious character anywhere in the Bar. The closest two we have are Ike and...Mar....both of which have pretty substantial things completely wrong with that statement.

Probably sources from the either agnostic or purely spiritual or "don't care" or whatever the hell I'm supposed to be nature of most of the Roleplayers in the Bar. Terenia and I tried it at one point, but it seems to be pretty tricky. I could do it plausibly as I know several perfectly normal religious people, but it might make me squeamish.

Anyway, getting very off-topic now. Let's return the OOC thread to RE! <3
