Kitsune, that sounds awful. :( I hope things at work tone down so you can get some rest. If you overtax yourself, it'll hurt. We all love you here, and wish you well.

I don't know why I did that, but it was fixed. I hope things get better, Marie.

Yeah, from me, Marie. You know you can call me if you ever need anything, even if it's just to chat and vent for a few minutes before getting back to work. Don't overwork yourself too badly, and keep in mind that you can't do more than you can do. Likewise, Luke. I hate those overwhelming days >.<

I don't know why I did that, but it was fixed. I hope things get better, Marie.
My guess is that you, as a writer, are feeling extremely sympathetic to Claxter, and his mind is preoccupied with Eleric and Efaen at the moment :P

:edit:

I feel like we should get a horse race announcer for Claxter and Aetheas.

...

I feel like I should feel bad because that was probably an offensive statement...

Yeah, that's a big part of his mind. He should really learn not to obsess so much.

I'm sure that jockeys would feel less inclined to push their horses as much if the horse had a blade on the end of its tail.

I don't think you could actually ride an Andalite---- they're about the size and have the proportions of a deer. With the possible exception of Visser Three (Alloran really), who is implied to be an absurdly huge Andalite similar to the way Quaritch-sized military men scare people. Even that's unclear though, because Book 1 states that he's the same size as Elfangor.

But if anyone successfully rode Visser Three, it would tell us pretty fast that we were in the wrong Animorphs universe. ;P

Sorry for the extended absence; there's too much transpired business to want to go into it right now. Working our way through the thread presently, and if our absence obstructs any action in the thread in the future, Oss, please feel totally free to Yeerk our character(s), even if you have to kill some of them off. Kells and Mar also have our unreserved permission to Yeerk 'em, since they're acutely familiar with our style of play.
The universe is, instant by instant, re-created anew. There is, in truth, no Past, only a memory of the Past. Blink your eyes, and the world you see next did not exist when you closed them. The only appropriate state of the mind is surprise. The only appropriate state of the heart is joy. The sky you see now, you have never seen before. The perfect moment is now. Be glad of it.

Welcome back, Estelore ^_^ Looking forward to finally having the chance to RP with you. Especially with Aetheas and Norry, who I foresee butting heads >.< This should be fun ;D

Sorry for my lack of posts over the weekend. Was busier than I expected >.<

:edit:

Claxter hadn't meant for the difficulty setting to start quite this high. He wondered if one of the more daring pilots had run this simulation last, and forgot to set the difficulty back.
Seriously! What kind of crazy actually thinks they can fly through this kind of environment!? On that note, I think I'll actually kick up the difficulty a little further. Aetheas won't appreciate that, but hey, he could use the practice.

Maybe it will become a theme for the difficulty to automatically rise over time.

Hehehe. Whee. I feel like this is less a 'gradual ramp in difficulty' and more a 'the beginning was supposed to be the calm before the storm.'

Luke, Eleric been messing with the obstacle course simulator a bit lately? :P

Maybe.  Probably.  He doesn't like the simulator, but there's not much other choice in Z-Space.  It would certainly be within his character to try and get his adrenaline fix from the simulator.

Just finished typing up another post for Iksilon...he's like...****ed up.  Totally sadist and stuff, which was not exactly what I originally intended, at least not to this extent.  Trying to decide if I should wait to post until it's a little less of an interruption or not.

It may be best to get the stuff typed up so you can move on to the next thing, but deciding whether to type it somewhere and save it for later, or post if anyway, is up to you.

Oh, yeah Chad.  I type all those narrations and whatnot in Word, and not all at once.  Then I just copy/paste.  I'm just deciding upon whether to do that now or wait.  I'll probably wait a bit.
