"That's good. Some people that come here are pretty powerful on their own, but some just get whisked here without anything beyond the clothes on their back. Of course I can call my own forces, but hopefully that won't be needed. This is a hangout for Yeerk rebels that are fighting the war, and they may react poorly if Andalite or Leeran controllers start showing up. Much less Hork-Bajir."

"Before you ask, I'm afraid I can't spare them to go to your planet and stop the war. I'd need government clearance, and there would be a lot of red tape involved. That is, if your planet isn't in some totally different dimension or timeline.

"I understand. Im not sure how my people would react to an off world military intervention. There have been.... Misunderstandings. In the past concerning off world militaries."

[Chad32]

"Not too surprising. As in tune with empathy as some people can be, sending a military force to another planet that's not in my government's jurisdiction would definitely raise some heads and suspicions on all sides. Even after a hundred years, many Yeerks are not eager to jump into another war."

[NickGreen]

Jerichi nods. "I can't help but wonder the point of my worlds conflict... The way I see it, we are all the same no matter if you are born into poverty or privilege. I can only hope that things will eventually settle down... To be completely honest, I want to go back. But I'm not sure if I have anything left back there anymore."

[Chad32]

"Wherever someone lives, their home is a special place to them. Simon was actually born on the Andalite Homeworld, and he finds it more comfortable than Earth. There are many reason for war. Some more justified than others. It seems the less involved someone is in war, the more they're likely to see it as a beneficial thing, and vice versa. I'm sure someone will convince them that lives are not to be paid like credits in the market."

"I hope so... One day I will return to my home world. Maybe then my world will feel like home" Jerichi sighs. "Thank you for sharing this conversation. It has been a long while sense someone showed enough curdisy to do so"

"You're very welcome. I am always willing to have a nice conversation with people, though not everyone has been interested in having one with me. I remember this one guy that had some sort of problem with me talking to a friend of his. Granted I was eavesdropping before they noticed me, and his friend's response was to introduce myself or leave, and he made it obvious that he would prefer I had just left. I think I actually hit it off reasonably well with her, though she did have some emotional issues in her life. War is hard on many."

[NickGreen]

Jerichi nods. "Yes, war can be very hard on a person. No matter how hardened they may be disciplinary-wise or psychologically."

"What are your plans going on from now? Is there any place out there that you are planning on going to? Or do you wander from place to place like myself?"

"I come here mostly to get away from the stresses of life. Though I did take a little adventure through a portal from here to help someone. I almost died, actually. It was probably a stupid thing to do, especially since I'm responsible for helping to run an Empire, but what's done is done. I don't have definite plans."

[NickGreen]

"I see. my plans are to explore as much of the galaxy as possible. Just the lure of knowing that there is always something more makes me want to do it. Not that I have anything else to do anyways... Im on my own as you know by now. And who knows, maybe one day il find a place to settle. But I have a feeling that it will be a long ways away."

[Chad32]

"I'm sure you'll find a suitable home somewhere. You may find this place interesting enough for a while. What kind of habitat are you used to, anyway?"

[NickGreen]

"I am used to the desert climate, my home world is completely covered in a sea of sand."

[Chad32]

"The Taxxon Homeworld is similar to that. Vast, sprawling continents of desert. Of course when the native sentient life has a nigh uncontrollable urge to feed, and can eat just about anything, it's not too surprising. The only place where they're settled is special hives that are made of mounds of Taxxons. we've yet to really understand how they work, or how to replicate it for individuals outside their homeworld."

"Hmm.... Interesting, yet slightly unsettling"

"Taxxons are weird. Though maybe worms that live in the heads of other creatures could be called weird too. Then you have the mammals that have no mouths, and eat through their hooves, and intelligent apes with almost no hair that walk completely upright. You could probably have a whole conversation about the oddities of different sentients."
