Jocun saw another person enter, looking ready to fight any threat that may emerge. He still had his dracon in hand, and hoped it wouldn't set the new guy off.

~Ossanlin~

Ossanlin shrugs, not really desiring to explain.  <In a word, yes.  It is...complicated.  It takes a lot of time and energy.>  He glances over at Parker before nodding.  <I don't suppose I've thanked you properly for the assistance you provided.  I do appreciate it.  You seem to have adjusted well to this setting for a non-infested human...>

His eyes swivel to the bar door as a strangely-dressed human enters.  The thing that catches his eye most, however, is the peculiar katana sword at his hip.  Ossanlin hadn't seen anyone anywhere besides himself and Parker wear the gracefully-curved human-style sword.  This individual's saiya and tsuka seems somewhat more ornate than his own pair however, which are built purely for their function without any excess.

~Rathien~

Rathien rests his tumbler and the hand gripping it on the bar counter...so, this Yeerk probably wouldn't be open for any fun...but the flirting has its own value, even if it's quite a lot less than the other.  "Too bad...I probably know a few things that could...extend...yo ur imaginative 'vocabulary' for your next encounter with your partners.  And the teaching and learning would be exquisite fun besides."  He winks, still smiling as he takes another sip of his drink.  "But at least looks are free and I'll make no excuses for my imagination."  He smirks a bit as his eyes flash down Terenia's body before moving back up to her face.

He barely glances at the door as another human enters wearing what appears to be a peculiar curved fighting blade reminiscent of those worn by the large male andalite and the strangely-armored human.  Longer than the short-sword-length blades that cris-cross his own back under his cape, too long in his opinion.  By and large the visitor looks somewhat confused and seems to have not a scrap of technology on him.  Curious.  His glance returns quickly to Esreth, his smile never faltering.

[Hunter]

Walking through the now open door, it swings behind him with a dull thud. Sensing that some of the creatures were eyeing him off, he lowered his hand from the hilt of his Katana; not wanting to start a fight.

Looking around, he saw a whole bunch of creatures that he could only have dreamt about. Looking rather lost, he saw a man wearing an apron standing behind what he could only gather was the bar. Walking up to him, and avoiding the gazes of the other patrons, he takes a seat at the bar near a couple other patrons, and says to the bartender in fluent Japanese 'Please good sir, can you tell me where I am?'

Not getting any reply, he repeats the same sentence in heavily accented English, just loud enough for the other patrons standing near him to hear.

((Ok, that's it for me tonight! you can decide who he sat next to!))

[Darth Revan]

Parker replies, "Happy to help a friend. For one so powerful, you do end up helpless a lot it seems." He then ****s his head slightly and replies to Ossanlin's comment, "Well, I've been fighting aliens for a long time, so they're not new to me; and I've grown up around battle and constant conflict, so I'm really quite at home here. The only differences are that the aliens I'm used to seeing are usually trying to kill me; and our mess hall doesn't serve alcohol. Unless someone else travels here from my universe on a ship that can travel through Slipspace, I'm afraid I'm a permanent resident here. I have a ship now at least, so I'm not completely limited; but that ship can only go back to Morgan and Gaz's universe."

Parker saw movement on motion tracker entering the bar. Thor immediately began monitoring him. Parker turned his head to look at the new patron. The newcomer was dressed anciently. It's extremely unlikely he traveled here by ship. The weapon at his side, that he keeps at the ready, is not unlike the katana nested under all of Parker's rifles. Parker watches as he sits at the bar and orders in Japanese.

After he gets no reply from the silent bartender, Parker faces him and answers for him. Speaking in fluent Japanese, Parker says, "You are in a universal nexus. This planetoid is occupied by this one structure. This bar is known as the 'Galaxy's Edge Space Bar'."

[Terenia]

Esreth rolls her eyes a little when Rathien mentions vocabulary, prepared to return with a comment about exactly how imaginative she could be, but her grin fades at Terenia's vehement reaction when the Ildari scans her body.

"I must apologize," Esreth says with a little cough, her smile returning, though smaller. "My host is not exactly a fan of our topic of conversation. You make her uncomfortable."

She glances up briefly as a newcomer, a stranger, enters the bar, then looks over to make sure that Gene is still nearby.

[Myitt]

Gene sits at the bar counter, tapping his fingernails on a half-full glass of beer, an unreadable expression on his face.

A chance look around the room has him catching Terenia's eye, and he gives a little wave.

She looks...uncomfortab le, he thinks warily, eyeing the fanged creature next to her for the briefest of moments. He swivels in his bar seat, taking a sip of the cold, amber liquid.

[Hunter]

Upon hearing the patron of the bar sitting next to him in fluent Japanese, he breathes a sigh of relief, able to speak to someone in his native tongue.

‘Well,’ he says  to the armoured individual in Japanese ‘Thank-you for your help, but I must return to my own time to finish what I started with the dark lord, Aku.’ He looked around, hoping that none of his minions had been sent along to attempt to finish him off

‘Have you any idea what year it is, on this planet?’ The samurai asked of him.

((Keep in mind, my character is speaking in Japanese, so to the best of my knowledge, Parker is the only one so far who can understand him))

<It is...fitful.  When I ascend, I exist in a state for which my body and mind were never designed.  I am not well...equipped...t o deal with the onslaught of perception, and the usage of energy is greatly accelerated.  You must understand, after I exist in that state for a protracted period of time and then resolve into my regular self...it is as if everything crashes down around me.  The flow of energy from the Ellimist...or wherever the Ellimist's energies come from, buffer my body from the energy drain.  Once that flow ceases, I feel its full effect, and it feels much as if I have run one-hundred clicks and climbed a ten kilometer mountain at the end.>  He pauses and shrugs in the human manner.  <That is exaggeration of course, but humans tend to understand the gravity of a situation more aptly when I use exaggeration.>

~Rathien~

"I suppose I must apologize to your host then.  But she must understand that such an appraising look is a compliment, at least coming from me.  Her genetics are above average, at least in the physical department.  Of course I can't asses her mental competency what with you in control, but somehow I have a feeling I'd have to dodge a Dracon bolt or two if you let her take charge.  I would hate to be forced to harm either of you in self-defense."  He smiles, not a hint of bite or negativity in his tone, merely a statement of fact.

"I never have understood why some females react so negatively to compliments on their appearance.  Of course there are some males...quite a few actually...that respond negatively to compliments from me.  They have some sort of nonsensical aversion to pleasurable activities with another male."  He shrugs and begins running his tongue over a fang again.  "Why deny what nature wants, hmm?"

He smiles a little wider before speaking again.  "So tell me, what inherent benefits do you experience from withholding yourself from pleasurable activities in the absence of your mates?  I never could understand, and no one has been able to give me a real answer."

[Darth Revan]

Parker shakes his head to the newcomer, he replies further in Japanese,  "I apologize, but the only Time that matters is the Time in which you inhabit. For me, it's the 26th century. For some of my friends here, it's only the 21st century. Time is relative here. We've had people leave and return a week later; however for that individual, they've been gone for over a year.

"I'm also saddened to say: I don't know how to return you to where you came. Unless you have your own form of travel, you may be stuck here as I am. My ship came here disabled. It would've completely missed the asteroid had I not evacuated and landed on this planetoid myself."

Parker turned back to Ossanlin and replied in English, "I understand that, true pain is difficult to explain when the one you're talking to hasn't experienced it. I know I couldn't fully appreciate the toll it takes on you, the same as I can't understand how some of my brethren suffer after having failed their augmentation process. All I could do was stand quietly as they suffered to such immense degrees."

[Hunter]

'Hmm...' the samurai mused for a moment in thought, scratching his head. 'I originally came from the year 25BA. I was originally thrown thousands of years into the future by the evil shape-shifting demon Aku, who has enslaved the entire planet! I must find a way to get back and stop him!'

Seeing the creature that the armoured individual then turned his attention to, his eyes went wide at the sight of it, and he instinctively reached for his Katana, if the need for defence arose.

[Darth Revan]

The moment before the new patron reached for his katana, Thor warned Parker, <Sir.> He then showed the new man's vitals. They were rising and altering dramatically.

Parker looked over his shoulder and saw the man was reaching for his katana. He cried out in Japanese, "Halt! There's no need for violence. He is friendly. No harm will come to you from him."

[Hunter]

'Please, forgive my hastiness.' He stood and bowed to the two creatures. 'I have never even told you my name.' He looked rather ashamed in himself

'When I was transported to the future by the evil Aku, I received the name Jack from the locals.' He bowed again. 'And what are you known as, good sir?' Jack enquired.

[Darth Revan]

Parker stood and bowed to "Jack". He replied in Japanese, "There is no offense. The matter is done. I am known as Parker 8-2-1. You may call me 'Parker'. May I inquire what your true name is 'Jack'?"

[Terenia]

Esreth laughs a little. "Terenia doesn't take to any compliments well, no matter what the topic," she says blandly. "As for our relationships...I suppose there is no benefit if it isn't what you want. But for someone like Terenia, and for myself too, I suppose, there is a certain amount of peace of mind that comes with knowing that there are people who care for you enough to make you their priority."

[Hunter]

'I apologize, but it has been many years and as such I have since forgotten my true name, as Aku has wiped it from my memory.' Jack said apologetically, while resuming his seat at the bar.

His stomach growling, he says to Parker 'How do I order food in this bar? The bartender seems to not understand me.'
