~Raile~
Raile shrugs and gestures blandly with his glass as a noncommittal response. If Garreth says that these responses won't affect his actions in any way, even on the subconscious level, then there can be no discussion of danger. Perhaps he's right, if he has truly mastered every last facet of his mind, even his subconscious, that statement could have a slim possibility of being factual. Perhaps the statements will make Garreth take actions he is supposed to take to keep the timeline proper, and if one was to believe that, then there was simply no danger in anything Raile said, though Garreth seemed to believe both things...that information about his timeline's near future would cause him to skew away from proper actions, but that information on the future that would almost doubtlessly skew his actions in at least a minor way, would not be detrimental at all. This entire thought process passes through Raile's head in no more than a few seconds and he shrugs again.
"The way I see it Garreth, either nothing I say will damage your timeline as my actions will skew yours into where they are supposed to be to maintain history, or everything I say will damage your timeline as anything I reveal to you about my history, which we assume to be your future, will alter your path in some way, even if you don't know it. It's one or the other, there is no middle ground. So either we talk openly about my past and present, or avoid the subject entirely. It doesn't make sense to accept some information from your future and deny the rest. Quite frankly, your path has already been drastically altered by meeting me in the first place. If what I say and do with you can alter my present, then my present has already been destroyed irreparably. Yet I still exist, so I'm loathe to believe that. I'll leave the decision to you. I see no danger, but I wouldn't want to speak on something that might make you feel uncomfortable...tha t would simply be uncourteous and rude."
