Claxter had hoped he wasn't inside the bar, but since Efaen said she saw him enter it wouldn't do to start anywhere else. He entered the bar cautiously, taking in everything. Serid was indeed inside, and Corliss had engaged the Tamora lookalike. He walked over to Serid.

<Hello Serid. Prince Ossanlin is out of the Mirage, and has asked for you. He uis currently in Hork-Bajir form not far outside.>

"Ah," Salem said as Corliss approached Zorish. He indicated Corliss's drawn Dracon, "Corliss, I think you need to take a few deep breaths. I'll let you two talk, then."

He turned away from the pair, and to Ewa. He wasn't actually going to go far- he wanted to see how this was going to play out- but Corliss might be more willing to talk to Zorish if Salem wasn't in the vicinity. Based on their history, though, it might not matter.

"This bar attracts all kinds," Salem said to Ewa. "From what I've seen, there isn't a whole lot of pattern behind who ends up here. There's a generally anti-imperial sentiment among most of the bar's customers, but," he said, waving a hand at Zorish's imperial uniform, "occasionally an imperial will show up here too." He looked over as Illim entered the bar. The Yeerk still seemed attached to Corliss at the hip. If it looked like Corliss would be busy for a few minutes, Salem might try to speak to Illim alone again. It wouldn't do to continue trying to speak with him if Corliss was going to keep interfering.

"So," he continued, crossing his arms and smiling, "what about you? Is it safe for me to assume 'Ewa' is a Yeerk name?" The more information he could get from this one, the more he'd know how closely to watch her.

Mar glances toward Elayne and smiles. She seems alright, for the most part. He may be able to delay his return to her. The Beryllian, whoever he was, wandered off somewhere. Mar wasn't really clear on why the man hated him, but it didn't really matter. Mar didn't like him either. Mar paused and then glanced at Salem. Although Mar did not trust him, he wanted to continue the exchange. He had to get at least some business done in the Bar.

Mar wanders toward the group, noting that Corliss is nearby. With....Terenia dressed as an Imperial? Hmm...something wasn't quite right. Mar wasn't sure of much of anything in this place, but he was pretty clear on the fact that Terenia's twin was dead. He'd overheard as much.

Mar wanders behind Zorish and states, "So you can come back from the grave, can you? Intriguing. You caused a lot of trouble last time. Don't do it again. The series of events that transpired exhausted me and a friend. "

Serid takes his eyes from Illim at being addressed by Claxter. "Thank you," he nods to the Andalite and walks past him through the Bar door to the outside. He turns his head, searching for the Hork-Bajir body.

Illim feels a pair of eyes momentarily on him, but when he looks around the crowded room, no one is watching. With a shrug, settles onto a barstool, in front of which the bartender sets a rather pitifully small burger. In no mood to barter, he nods his thanks and begins eating.

Elayne sinks into a chair near where Mar had been sitting, waiting for him to return. It seems to her that that is the way of things between them lately: lives out of sync.

<<He calls this a five dollar burger? Please. Oh well, at least it tastes decent.>> The burger put Derrel in a better mood, letting him forget about all the tension around them.

Claxter was hesitant to leave the building. Now that he was inside, he figured he might as well get a good look at the Imperial, and keep an eye on Corliss. With his dracon still out, maybe he'd do something stupid and get himself shot. Was this what it felt like to hate someone? He'd never really hated anyone before.

Stepping out from the forest, Jade Tear noticed this was not her land anymore. "What in the gods names?" she asked looking around. Nothing looked familiar. No Ironwood trees from the virgin forest, and odd looking hulks of what seemed to be metals and steels were everywhere in the clearing. Then there was a simple little cabin. Or was it an enclave? She noticed many creatures wandering around and stated near the trees.

She must have gone through a natural gate. Of all the luck.... Of all the Elves why would the gods send her? She was merely a scouter, nothing more, even if she was of domana Caste. She now had no sekasha to guard her and she was in unfamiliar territories...Not good. She pulled her cloak tight around her and her hood up over her long ankle length Dark Chocolate hair and her Pointed ears. Only her Vivdly colored Cobalt blue eyes giving away she wasn't human and walked up to the single building of the area.

Stepping inside, her silk skirts slightly swishing and her slippers barely even clicking against the hard wood floor she looked around and seen it was a pub or a bar as the humans would call it. But she also noticed that the occupents of this bar were not all human theirselves. Walking up to the bar she took a seat and kept her eyes down as she listened and felt for any magick source nearby. She looked about nineteen in human years but if anyone looked deep enough into her eyes they would see the many many years she has lived.

The humanoid had just finished his drink when a new being entered the BAR. This new being wore a cloak, silk skirts and a hood which shielded most of this beings face, however the eyes were visible. The eyes which were a vivid Cobalt blue were what caught his attention and his focus. He felt that perhaps she was not used to settings like this and perhaps was even lost.

He signaled the bartender over and spoke to him quietly, in Gallard 'I will take another Relnian Blizzard, and also, put that new patron's expenses on my tab.' The bartender turned to glance at the newcomer briefly, turned back and barely nodded. The bartender then walked behind the bar and mixed his drink, combining the thick, blue, subzero glacial ice with the clear 200 proof alcohol. When they combined the alcohol reacted to form a foam as red as a sun that steamed from the heat coming out of it.

The bartender brought the strange drink to the humanoid then returned behind the bar. The humanoid smelled his drink, then took a sip causing his spots to first turn as blue as the liquid, then as red as the foam. Perhaps opportunity has finally arrived he thought to himself as he looked over at the newcomer.

She waited for the bartender to return and then she bit her lower lip geently. She wondered if he spoke Elvish or at least English. She tried Elvish and then repeated it in English. "Ouzo please." she said and when he returned with the small glass she reached into her cloak to pay but he stopped her with a shake of his head. "I must pay..." he shook his head again and pointed to someone. She knew exactly who he meant when they're eyes met. He had paid for it? Why? He did not know her that she knew of.

When she had turned to look at him, some light illuminated part of her face as it had slipped into her hood. She had almond shaped eyes that were trimmed in thick lashes that brushed against her high cheekbones when she blinked. Soft smooth skin that was the color of cream and soft pouty lips the color of roses. She watched him a moment before giving a low bow with her head in thanks.

The newcomer had ordered a small drink and when she attemted to pay the bartender stopped her. It seemed she insisted, but the bartender simply shook his head again and pointed at him. When she turned to look at him, he was momentarily struck with awe.

A small amount of light had shone into her hood and exposed the beauty this creature possessed to him. Her eyes were the shape of ymsuht seeds with thick lashes. Her skin was soft and smooth and had a lnays color. Her lips were the color of nuca flowers and looked as soft as the petals.

She gave a low bow with her head to indicate gratitude and for the longest moment he considered joining her. However the past reminded him of the dangers that action could cause. He also considered asking or motioning for her to join him, however the fact that he paid for her drink would tarnish the invitation and make it seem that she was EXPECTED to join him. He decided to simply raise his glass to her in return and turned in his seat to face the empty seat. The next move would be hers. If she wished to join him, she would.

Ogreon saw yet two more people enter. They were being awfully silent, so he decided to introduce himself(You see, he knows not much of romance OR privacy...). One of them had a cloak, and another had a strange mechanical thing on his eyes.

"Greetings, I am Ambassador Ogreon of the Alliance starship Urtahn! Have you been here before?"

Corliss gives Salem a sour look, before turning his attention back to Zorish.

"My name is Corliss Three-Eight-Two," he replies levelly, keeping the Dracon drawn but lowering it.  "And judging from that uniform you've got on, your name is Zorish, and you're a Sub-Visser of the Yeerk Empire.  Which is impossible, because you're dead."

The blue-skinned alien humanoid turned to regard the creature who had so RUDELY shattered his thoughts with his loud voice. The creature, who had said his name was Ogreon, resembled a cruubivv which was a fine delicacy on his planet. However this creature was an intelligent being and therefore would be an atrocity to hunt, however his rudeness would not be tolerated.

He hesitated before replying "My name is Reln, and I have not been to this place before. I politely request that you no longer speak to me, Ogreon. Your rudeness in your introduction has offended me." He spoke perfect Gallard, however anyone who decided to listen closely, would hear a faint watery sound to his voice as if he had a small water bubble in his vocal cord.

Reln glanced over at the beautiful being to see what her reaction to this new creature would be.

"Well, you certainly get straight to the point, Corliss," Zorish says blandly, dropping the smile. "Yes, I am Zorish Three-Five-Eight, Sub-Visser Fifty-Nine of the Yeerk Empire. What I am most certainly not is dead, despite the fact that numerous people seem to think as much."

He looks Corliss up and down, unimpressed. "I am told that you can contact Myitt One-Nine-Five." He folds his arms over his chest, frowning slightly and glancing at Mar, who also seems to have taken an interest in him. "I need to speak with him regarding my supposed status as deceased."

Ewa smiled at Salem's joke.  "Quite.  It'd be terrible form to be so uninformed of any species but my own.  It would also make all my questions that much ruder."

So this place did not actively work against the Yeerk empire--was more of a hideout or gathering for the disaffected, lazy, or moderate dissidents.  Ewa was sure the empire would not simply let this place be if it was home to more wanted/dangerous deserters.  Plus there would have been a much colder welcome for the Sub-Visser.  I suppose that's well enough, but it does leave this place with some trouble so far as an overarching plot goes.

"And what are you supposed to be?" she asked Salem in return.  His mannerisms certainly seemed human, but his appearance was off.  Either he was from a human-playing family she had not seen before--unlikely--or he was meant to be something else entirely.

Ossanlin nods to Efaen.  <<Yes, I should think it would benefit all of us.  I would hope to use the information garnered to possible assist Serid if he should so desire.>>  Ossanlin takes a bit of a breath, expanding his formidable hork-bajir chest, before continuing.  <<You have witnessed my...abilities.>>  The statement was in no way a question.  <<It would be difficult to explain the nature of my existance, suffice it to say that I was born a normal Andalite and certain...events... took place to enhance my understanding of the Multiverse.  In any case, entering and maintaining my 'ascended' status takes vital energy.  This energy needs to have time to rebuild, and so it will be some time before I can enter that plane of existance again.  It will be necessary for me to have full usage of my abilities to perform the procedure, therefor it will be some time before I can even make an attempt.>>

Ossanlin glances around and notices Serid emerge from the bar.  <Ah...he is in good condition, or so it would seem.>
