Corliss gives Illim a glance and follows Jagill toward Temrash's ship, his boots crunching across the gravel at the front of the parking area.

"I take it we can access the ship's pool/computer interface?" Corliss says, though he's not sure if the big Hork-Bajir can understand the term.

Salem's standoff with Corliss and Illim had left him shaking slightly. That wasn't like him. In addition, Corliss had now come back, and wanted to speak to Temrash as well. With the way things were going with the Yeerk lately, Salem felt it would be better to stay out of his way.

"Um... Jagill, I'll talk to Temrash after he's done with Corliss," he said to the Hork-Bajir. "Tell him I'd like to see him."

Al had been keeping an eye on Salem's situation, while being assisted in cleaning up his work area by Jasper. It looked like the standoff Salem had gotten himself into had diffused for now. Al breathed a sigh of relief.

"Actually," he said, turning to Jasper, "it looks like Salem might be available at the moment. We can probably catch him before he goes and starts doing something else," he said, starting down the ship's ramp, fully human in appearance.

"Yes. You talk Temrash while in pool." Jagill said. He commanded the hatch to open, and stepped into the bridge. "No weapon. Wait here while I talk first. Ship watch you, so not do anything." He said once they were in. He pressed some keys on the computer, opened the door to the back, then entered and locked it behind him. Inside he typed on a keypad instead of talking so no one could hear them, communicating through text. Once Temrash was told that Corliss was suspicious of Salem, and wanted to speak to him, he said yes.

Jagill left the room and closed the hatch behind him. "Temrash say he talk. You go in without weapon, and not touch Temrash. I mean it." He said that last one with a stone cold expression. Corliss had been arguing with Temrash a lot, but Jagill wasn't taking any chances. Corliss would play his way, or leave.

Claxter finally got the scan back. Nothing vital, so all he really needed was rest. <<It is not a Warrior's duty to question his Prince. Prince Ossanlin is powerful, and has some unorthodox views, but as long as he opposes the Empire then I will serve him. Our end goals are the same.>>

Jasper felt gross after having just dumped the things from the desk into the bins without any sorting or organizing what-so-ever. It just felt... wrong.

Sapttus was growing anxious in waiting for Salem - or rather, the cure he was supposed to be preparing - and had asked Al if he wanted to join the two of them back at the bar.

"Well that's good to hear. I must admit, you're visual displays running all over the interior of your ship are quite fascinating, not that I fully understood them." Sapttus followed Al down the ramp, headed back towards the bar. Jasper was sure to stuff the holo-projection device into an outside pocket of his laptop bag before leaving. It should be safe there.

Corliss leaves his Dracon reluctantly on the control panel of Temrash's ship.

"Fine," he says, glaring at Jagill.  "I'll be a good boy, I promise."

He steps into the pool room, clearing his throat.

"Temrash, can you hear me? It's Corliss," he says, trying to keep as much anger as he can out of his tone of voice.

"So, now you finally want to talk, Corliss? Not too busy? No other pressing engagements?" Temrash said through the computer as Jagill reentered the room and locked the door behind him. "I'll let you start." There was no indication that he was nervous in his natural state. He trusted Corliss was unarmed, and Jagill was trained to protect him when he fed. So he continued to relax in the liquid.

Corliss glances over his shoulder as Jagill steps in and locks the only exit.  In spite of himself, he starts to feel as though perhaps he's made a mistake in coming here.

He clears his throat.  "Listen, Temrash," he says flatly.  "Something is wrong with my ship, and I might be going out on a limb here, but I think Salem has something to do with it.  I caught him tampering with my ship's systems earlier, and now there's a power drain indicative of another hack attempt.  Would you happen to know anything about what he might be up to?"

"Oh, this is about Salem?" Temrash asked, acting like he thought it was about something else. "He's an opportunist. If he sees an opportunity to make a profit, he'll take it. I'm just not sure how he would get into your ship in the first place. Was this before or after we spoke last?"

"Honestly, I can't remember, it's been such a ridiculous series of events," Corliss mutters.  "I reckon he's an opportunist, yeah, but someone must've hired him.  Someone who wanted access to a rebel computer system really badly." He shifts his weight, arms crossed.  "None of your contacts watching the transmissions here have seen anything?"

Kevlin walked casually out of the trees he and Dara had been sleeping in the branches of one of the larger trees. <<Should we check in with Temrash first?>> <<Probably.>> <<Okay.>> Kevlin moved towards Temrash's ship. "Are you there Temrash?" He asked as he  boarded the ship.

Efaen nods, seemingly satisfied with Claxter's response. <<You are correct, of course,>> she says. <<It is not our place to question Prince Ossanlin.>> She stares at his barely responsive form. <<That last fight took a good deal of strength from him. Perhaps it will be wise to lock him aboard and allow him respite. I will speak to him regarding my future once he is well. In the meantime, I must ensure that the situation with the Yeerk filth outside does not change.>>

Now that she has wrested the decrepit Bar door ajar, the trick is for Elayne to hold it open while attempting to maneuver Mar inside. He may be far more lightweight than she feels he ought to be, but it doesn't change the fact that she only has two arms.

Illim wheels around, following Corliss back to Jagill, but he does not attempt to board the ship with his new friend. <<You were right about his speech patterns indicating a shift in control over his brain,>> he remarks to Derrel, watching Jagill. <<You're observant.>>

Turning his attention to Salem, he gives a tight-lipped smile. "So how do you know this Temrash fellow?" he asks, taking a few more steps to approach him and putting away his Dracon to at least pay lip service to offering the olive branch.

Serid glances at the still-closed hatch door in slight dismay and then says to Theta, "I do not suppose this Unimatrix has made significant headway into your native part of the galaxy?"
