"Yeah?" Corliss says, giving Illim a sidelong glance.  "I hope so, mate.  Anyway, whatever attacked my shipboard computer system came from outside of it."

He grins, pausing to catch his breath and patting Illim on the shoulder.  "And I know you wouldn't be stupid enough to try and hack it from the inside, this this twit."

Corliss looks up at Salem, cupping his free hand at his mouth.  "Oy!  Salem!  Stop larking about with Dracula and his girlfriend, coz I reckon I need to have a little chat with you."

<You are very welcome I don't regret doing it, especially since it's about the first good thing I've ever accomplished.> Claxter said. As he made it up the ramp, he turned a stalk eye to Serid for one last look at him. <Who is that guy, anyway? The Human You were associating with? I've seen him speaking with Prince Ossanlin as well.>

Derrel watched on from within his head, not really saying anything. He was worried that Salem might have something tucked under his clothes, though. Even when someone looks unarmed, they might suddenly pull something out. Though obviously Illim and Corliss had weapons too. <Set phasers to painful, Captain.>

Salem raised an eyebrow at Mar's comment to Elayne about neither he nor Mar trusting each other. Mar was right, of course, but Salem hadn't really been expecting to be asked to leave.

"Have a little patience, Yeerk. I hear it's a virtue in these parts," he said to Corliss with a smirk. He tried to shift his weight in a way that would let him stop supporting Mar without sending Mar and Elayne tumbling to the ground. He glanced over at the bar, then back at Elayne, and said, "Do you think it's whole again? After that ship crashed into it, there might not be much left in there." He'd previously witnessed the bar's self-repairing abilities, and he felt he wouldn't really be surprised either way. He just wasn't sure of the extent of the bar's capabilities.

Al nodded, "Yeah, it's a manual. Thought or voice activated, touch required for the thought commands on this one. It should be pretty easy to work out. And hopefully the charger works. If it doesn't, come see me, and I'll figure something else out."

When Jasper started looking at his body, Al laughed and rapped a hand against the side of his head, "This little number was a collaboration with a species calling themselves 'Pemalites.' Salem and I spent some time with them a while back. Some of it is based on the technology we had when we met them, and the rest of it is theirs, originally. The whole concept is based on the body I had when I met them." He grinned, "Real nice guys. Last I heard, they were gonna try developing their own AI's to throw into these things." He mimed wiping a tear away from his eye, "I was so honored." He tilted his head and seemed to stare off into space, "Y'know, I haven't actually heard from them in ages. Ever since Salem and I had the incident with the thingy..."

We opened our eyes. We had never really deactivated our units. We were only simulating our cryptobiosis. We had been observing the Andalites as they entered the vessel.

We were alone. For the first time since we had been severed from the collective, we were entirely isolated. That would not do.

We spotted a human standing adjacent to the ship, and approached him, <Human Unit, what is your designation?>

"Yeah, okay, I'll take a look at this then..." Jasper says about the computer.

"I... might have heard of these Pemalites before, but I don't really recall. It may have come up in passing once or twice." Sapttus said. "They seem to have been highly advanced for a species existing such a long time ago, as you imply. It sounds to me like you and Salem live quite the interesting lifestyle." He didn't want to ask about the 'incident' he mentioned. Sapttus figured that if Al wanted to go into it, then he would of his own accord. He didn't want to prod. "Any idea how long Salem will be out?"

<<Not a bad idea,>> Illim tells Derrel, drawing his new Dracon. He keeps the setting low, though, especially considering bystanders are close.

Illim looks at Corliss, giving a grateful nod. It seems he has won his way into the Rebellion, at least so far as Corliss is concerned. Reven had not so much as asked for his name when he had spoken with Efaen; hopefully the endorsement of the Yeerk beside him would be sufficient to secure his entrance.

Elayne gives an exasperated sigh as Salem shrugs off the newcomers again, but she is glad that she alone is helping bear Mar's weight now.  "I don't know," she says, trying to lead Mar towards the building, "but I don't know where else to take him. It'll be fine."

Serid turns his head to see who has addressed him and raises his eyebrows in surprise. The Andalite is highly strange-looking, to say the least. "My name is Serid," he replies cautiously. "What is yours?"

"Maybe not need ship after all. Thanks any way Danielle." Jagill said, opening the hatch to leave the ship, since the bar seemed to be doing fine on its own. He headed back, seeing that the Andalites had left. Samel was carrying Mar back inside, and were being followed by Corliss and Illim. He didn't know if he should help Salem or not. Temrash made friends with him, but he didn't want Corliss to know Temrash was Salem's friend. His ship was closed off, otherwise he might have tried to do something about Terenia. He followed behind the group on the way inside.

Luckily, Mar doesn't appear to weigh all that much at all. In fact considering he's supposed to be a man of twenty or thirty years old, he's quite possibly unhealthy. He did look a tad bit...underfed when Elayne saw his chest some time earlier. Mar glances up at Elaynes's exasperated expression and smirks a little bit. He didn't exactly realize in his tired state that getting Salem to go away would leave all of his weight on Elayne. Poor dear; her pain wasn't his intent.

"Didn't mean to leave you alone holding me," muttered Mar, his voice taking on that odd raised quality to it for a moment. "Didn't mean any of this. Without me...Ossanlin would fall. I owed the War-Prince.......something. Anything. Seemed like my only choice at the time."

One of Efaen's stalks follow Claxter's to the hatch, and Serid beyond. <He has been seeking an audience with Ossanlin,> Efaen says. <I believe that he wishes to join the crew of the Tyrennian.> She decides to avoid mentioning Serid's Andalite roots. She does not know how widely the nothlit wants the knowledge spread and keeping the secret may garner trust with him later, if she needs it.

Reaching the interior of the ship, Efaen steps aside and allows Claxter to lead. She has not yet spent any time aboard the War-Prince's personal ship, and does not know where the med bay is - although there are not many options to choose from.

Claxter got him into the medbay, and onto the table. <Computer. Run bioscan on p[rince Ossanlin and give me a readout of anything wrong.> He found it odd that a Human would want work on the Tyrennian, but he had seen stranger things at this bar. <Also make sure the external hatch is closed.> He said, in case it already wasn't. Even though much of the ship was blocked off, there wasn't any reason to leave the hatch open.

Al shrugged, "No idea. He's always off doing something. I think I need to put bells on that boy so I can keep track of him." He winked at Jasper, "Never knowing what he's up to is part of the benefit of the lifestyle we lead these days. How come? Did you need to see him for something else?"

Salem swallowed and nodded at Elayne. Without another word, he turned to face Illim and Corliss, both of whom were now approaching with their weapons drawn.

His mouth broke into a grin. "Hey Terenia," he said to Corliss. "You want to talk, great, but that," he said, waving a hand at Corliss' Dracon, "is just unnecessary."

"Oh no, we aren't in any rush." Sapttus said. Truth be told, simply sitting around could get boring, but what was really on his mind was the cure. He didn't want to sit around waiting for that forever. NOt that.. he thought he would be, but the wait was going to kill him.

Jasper took a seat and began going through the manual. "Oh... this might take me a while..." he says softly to himself.

Jagill stopped as Salem stopped, and stood not too far away from him and the other two. He could easily hear anything that was said, and made no effort to hide himself. He didn't draw his weapon because he didn't think they'd start firing on him.

Efaen helps Claxter take Ossanlin into the medbay, watching as the other warrior hooks the Prince up to the machines. She stands near the War-Prince, her main eyes focused on his exhausted form as she discusses Ossanlin's abilities.

<<He does seem to be...capable of a great deal,>> Efaen allows. <<Does this not concern you?>>
