Sean unlocked the door to his apartment and closed it behind him. It was quite. He dropped his luggage and slumped into the old leather couch, looking for the remote. With a sigh, he got up to go fetch it from the kitchen counter where he'd left it - why, he didn't remember. After flipping through dozens of channels of nothing interesting, he shut of the TV and stared blankly at the box, thinking. I wonder if they'd let me have a parrot here....

Brian got in his car after talking momentarily to one of the other guys from school, and drove straight home. His mom and little brother must have seen him coming down the street, because they were waiting next to the driveway, exactly where they had been when he'd left a few weeks ago. He got out and gave them both a hug, saying "Did you guys stand here the whole time I was gone?"

"There is nothing odd about these name's from Olivia's counter.  But their is a Canadian passport listed."
Jalzar over heard the conversation of the ranking Yeerks.  Oh it couldn't be.  "Mind if I look?"  After being handed the sheet he twisted his host's lips into a smile.  "Don't worry about Jo, she's a real Canadian."  I'll have to talk to her.

Tarry had been watching humans enter and leave with individual humans who seemed to work for the odd human guard post. At first he had assumed that they were merely friends of the employee's (humans were as social as andalites) but he had seen these men enter and leave several times, never with the same humans. It had dawned on him the moment he stopped wondering about the purpose of the human machine called a food processor. <controllers!> The Andalite Nothlit flew into towards the door and into the building seconds before the doors closed. <Olivia, this is Tarry,> he grumbled a little over his humanized name, <controllers have entered the building and are taking humans to be infested!> Tarry maneuvered past walls, through hair-pin turns around corners, under door ways.
Suddenly he heard a word he knew came from the mouth of no true human, "Andalite!" The man who had spoken reached inside his coat but was stopped by his partner, "It may be just a normal bird! We have no orders from the sub-visser to open fire!"
Tarry tore by the men, going at what seemed the speed of light (though all Andalites knew such a thing was impossible) and finally saw the particular human he was looking for, <We must leave, Now!>
Meh.

When Kristin got home, she dumped her suitcases on the ground and was greeted by their family dog, a husky named Balto.  Wwen Kristin was younger, she was obsessed with the movie Balto so the name was the obvious choice for the husky puppy she got for her 11th birthday.  She bent down to pet Balto when she saw him relax completely and go into a trance.  Did I just...acquire him?

Kristin went and ate dinner with her parents, suffering through small talk about her trip.  Finally, dinner was over.  Kristin faked a yawn.  "I'm exhausted.  I think I'm just gonna go to bed."  Her parents asked her if she wanted to watch a movie but Kristin just yawned again and headed up the stairs with Balto following her.  Once in her room, Kristin locked the door and closed her eyes, concentrating on Balto.  Suddenly, her features began changing.  Her bones started twisting and rearranging, her insides were moving all about, and she started shrinking, all the while growing fur.  Kristin started freaking out but continued the changes.  Finally, she opened her eyes and looked in her mirror to see that she had become a husky.

Olivia jumped out of her skin when she heard Tarry's thought speak.  She didn't want to be seen talking to a bird so she said, "I thought I locked up that bird."  She began to chase Tarry around until they were outside.  "Crazy bird, I'm gonna be fine. I'll just going to walk comely away.  No one will notice that I'm gone."

Jalzar was about to walk to his car when he saw Olivia walking leaving.  <You can't let her leave,> his voluntary host said.  "Miss, miss could I talk to you."

Olivia broke into a run after a man with icy blue eyes called after her.  "Or maybe not."

Jo sat down and turned on the TV to her mother's news show.  She no intention of watching the live lobsters boiled.

The TV remote clattered on the floor as it fell out of Sean's hands when he drifted to sleep on the couch. He twitched slightly at the sound, but continued snoring, nestled cozily into the cushions. He slept deeply, despite his hectic dreaming. They mainly centered on crabs, security agents, and his Ex-wife.

Brian's mom hugged him in return, "No, we didn't stand here the whole time! Oh, it's so good that your home, Brian!"

"Yeah, it was so boring around here without you..." said his little brother Benjamin, who just went by 'Ben'.

"So what did y'all do without me? Anything really awesome?" Brian asked.

"No, not really. I got invited to this new club at school called 'The Sharing' though. It sounds kinda neat..."

This is amazing! Kristin thought.  She could hear everything going on in the house.  Her parents were watching Friends on TV.  While her vision lacked some color, the dog's sense of smell was amazing.  She could smell the pasta they had for dinner and the trash that really needed to been taken outside.  The best part of being a dog though was the happiness.  The dog was just so darn happy!  Suddenly, Kristin saw her tail and she just had to chase it.  She couldn't control herself, she just had to catch her tail.  After about 5 minutes of running in circles, Kirstin finally regained control over the husky's mind.  Wow.  I never expected that to lose control like that.  I better be more careful from now on.  I think this has been enough for one day.  Kristin concentrated on picturing herself as a human and felt the changes begin.  When she was fully human again, she was surprised to see that she was naked.  Freaking out, Kristin quickly changed into her pajamas.  I really need to find a way to morph clothing, otherwise things could get really weird.

Jo went to her room after dinner and cried.  She felt like a cannibal now.  But not eating would have raised suspicion.  Miriam was home for supper saying she had no idea where Merlin was so we should start with out him.  She turned on her ham rig and tuned to a CW conversation, hoping that the rhythmic tones help her feel better.

Olivia was very good at running.  But in the back of her mind the memory from boot camp where she passed out while running kept haunting her.  That was her weakness.  But another animal would just... "Tarry, what would you say to both of us fly out of here?"

Tarry had been flapping along side Olivia; his wings straining from the effort of so long a time in the air, flapping so vigorously. <That would likely increase your chances of remaining uninfested by the yeerks.> The andalite said this final word with a sneer. <but we need your human transportation vehicle, <It is a journey of some distance to the human population center where the others have gone.>
Meh.

Jo dodged and waved through the rows of cars.  The others in the car pool are going to kill me, she thought. as she hopped in and started the engine.  "Tarry, in here."

"The Sharing, huh? We might just have to check that out sometime, little brother." He asked. Ben sent a glare at Brian.
"I'm not that little, y'know. I'm only five years younger than you...."
"Right, right; I'm sorry. Hey, you wanna help me carry my stuff in?"
"I guess...." Ben said in a sarcastic tone and with a smile on his face. The three of them went in through the wooden double doors. After Brian and his younger brother had dropped his luggage off upstairs in his room, they both came down and sat at the kitchen bar, while their mom washed a couple dishes on the other side. They hung out here quite often, at least as much as they did in the living room. It was nice being home, were everything was familiar, and he knew... Trust no one. The thought ran through his head involuntarily. It caught Brian off guard, causing him to stare at his mother. She was a just a single mother school teacher... why would the Yeerks want her? No, I can trust them. he thought to himself.

"Brian?" Brian snapped out of his disturbing thoughts.
"Oh, I'm sorry. What was that Mom?"
"I said, what would you think about ordering a pizza for dinner?" Brian let out a sigh.
"That would be wonderful."

After dinner, Chad decided to go take a bike ride. He told his mom, got on his bike, and rode as fast as he could, just to think. After nearly a half hour, he started to head back. He stopped and decided that it would be good to get some morphs. But how?

Jazar was left in the dust of the car.  He wrote the license plate number on his arm and reported back to his superiors.  The usual punishments were to be expected.  But that would have to wait for tomorrow.  For now he had to head home to keep his cover.  Then again home was where Sandresh was and she was punishment enough.

After gathering up the pile of clothes that had collected on the floor after her morphing experiment, Kristin decided to attempt to find clothes that could be morphed.  She decided to start with very little clothes and continue adding more until she could no longer morph them.  Kristin changed out of her pajamas and decided to try morphing just underwear.  Concentrating on Balto, the changes began and after about a minute, Kristin was a husky once more.  After taking a minute to relax, she demorphed to find that her underwear was still in place.  So underwear works,  Kristin thought.  She noticed that she was getting tired.  Morphing takes a lot out of you I guess.  Ignoring her exhaustion, Kristin added a pair of bike shorts and a tight, athletic tank top she used to go jogging.  Here goes nothing.  After morphing and demorphing, Kristin was happily surprised to see that her clothes remained on her body.  Almost completely exhausted, Kristin tried putting on socks and shoes.  She knew if she put on more clothes, she would not be able to morph them, as evidenced by her first morphing attempt.  After one more morph/demorph, Kristin was shocked to see that her shoes and socks did not survive the morph.  Dead tired, Kristin collapsed on her bed.  At least I know how to morph clothing, Kristin thought before falling asleep.

Jo had to know about her family.  Her dog Sam was sleeping in the barn so she could sneak out to acquire him now without being noticed.  Quietly, she tip toed past Miriam, who was still waiting up for Merlin, to the door.  Acquiring sam was much like acquiring the crab.  Not that she wanted to think about crabs right now.

As Olivia drove she could not think of where to go from here.  Going back to her house was not an option.  "Tarry, do you know where these people live?"
