OoC: Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps! KNOCK IT OFF!
Bic: Ultor sat in an SUV that drove down the road between tow vans filled with the men he had earlier requested. Regalis sat in the back where all the windows were heavily tinted, making it unlikely anyone would see his Hork-bajir host body. upon arrival at the home of Jazar and sandresh Ultor and the rest pulled into the driveway and up and down the nearby street, turning off their cars. The yeerk sub-visser got out of the SUV followed by the four human controllers armed with hidden dracon weapons. The hork-bajir waited in the vans. The five men walked up to the door and knocked, waiting for an answer. It was time for a visit with some friends.
--------------------------------------------------------
Tarry pulled out a few loose feathers and caressed his wings with his beak, <It is simple, In my normal form I have four legs, tow arms, four eyes, and a tail with a sharp blade on the end. I also lack what you humans call a mouth. My andalite tail was deadly, moving faster than the eye could follow, cutting down hork-bajir and taxxons alike. I thank you for the offer of your human house, I am sure I will find it pleasant enough.> About this last bit the andalite warrior sounded unsure.
Meh.

Sandresh watch as Josefina eat breakfast happily.  "What do you have planed for today?"

"Well I'm going to spend some time on the radio," Jo said.  "Around two o'clock I'll go to the post office to send out some QSL cards."

"Well be carful there is a armed customs agent on the run from the law.  Are you ok?"  She noticed that Jo chocked on a bite.

"Just got a lot of pepper in one bite."

Chad had gone back home and had a dreamless night, and in the morning woke up around noon. He said, "Oh, snap," rolled out of bed, and stumbled downstairs, still disoriented. Mrs. Black and his brother were nowhere in sight; they might have been sleeping still. Chad ate breakfast, changed, and decided to start moving. But before he left, he saw the neighbor's dog Sparky. She ran over to the fence and jumped up on it.
Chad looked around, walked over, and "petted" the dog.
Since he had permission to use the car, as he'd asked last night, Chad left quickly.

Kristin slept until her alarm went off at 8.  She realized that she had to get to the zoo by 9.  So she got out of bed, put on the bike shorts and tank top she found could be morphed and threw some clothes over them before heading downstairs.  She entered the kitchen to find that her parents had left to run errands together.  Grabbing the extra set of car keys, Kristin got into her parents' second car and drove to the zoo.

Normally Kristin was very calm around the animals but she was filled with a new energy today.  She could not contain her excitement that she could actually become these magnificent creatures.  She was also excited to get to the coffee shop today even though she knew it meant the start of a war.  Today, Kristin was working in the parakeet house which meant she got to help zoogoers fed and interact with the tiny colorful birds.  Excitedly, Kristin acquired one of them when there weren't many people around.

Sean had meant Olivia, but Tarry was welcomed too. Even though they really hadn't discussed it with him, that was kinda what they'd planned.

The drive back was fairly uneventful. Olivia was filled in on everything the others had learned on the island where they'd met Tony and found the cube. It was astonishing to him how well Olivia - and Kristen, for that matter - had handled their major life changes. Sean couldn't decide it that was comforting or worrisome. He felt bad for Olivia, too. She had forfeited everything she had to help these people she knew for five minutes. They had been fortunate she hadn't simply confiscated their bags and detained them.

It was 1:32... "We've got to be at the coffee house real soon. Do you want to swing by my place, or go ahead and wait for the others there?"

Brian waited for the others. He checked out a few of the little shops at the mall, but wasn't very interested....

"Did you see anything unusual while you were at customs?" Jazar asked hoping that Jo had seen something.

"No," I said.  "What are you trying to fine her yourself?  You heard what Miriam said about calling the police and getting out of there fast if we see her.  Don't get yourself in trouble.  I must get these QSL cards out."  She left.  Olivia Rush was wanted and there was no way of knowing what was happening.

Olivia really had no options for a place to live.  "I'll go to your place.  I might fine a better way of hiding my face there.  Also if I stay with you we must never alone, Tarry or someone else must be there.  No funny stuff either, I finished seven weeks of Coast Guard boot camp so I will beat you up if need be."

At about 1:00, Kristin checked out of the zoo.  Walking through the zoo to the exit, she stopped at the big cat exhibit.  She had always been fascinated with big cats, especially the black panther.  She marveled at the grace of the creatures reminding herself of the deadly power of the animals.  Kristin left the zoo filled with excitement and nervousness for the meeting with her new comrades.  Once out of the zoo, Kristin headed over to her parents' car and drove to the coffee shop.  She got to the mall early and decided to walk into the bookstore and browsed through the sci fi/fantasy section.  She spotted Brian in the mall and gave him a nod before returning to the books.  Kristin checked her watch.  It was 1:47, almost time to head to the coffee shop.

OOC: Just to make it less obvious, Chad will have arrived a little earlier to sit at the coffee shop...

IC:

Chad had arrived at the mall and had spent some time looking around, though there wasn't anything of interest to him. An uneasy feeling was in his stomach, for, after all, there was a war that would be starting. But a small part of him--and it was a very small part--was looking forward to changing into another animal and then fighting. Shoving all thoughts aside, he went to the coffee shop, and sat at a table that seated six. He drummed his fingers impatiently.

Kristin saw that Chad had arrived at the coffee shop.  She put the book she was looking at back on the shelf and headed over to the coffee shop.  She stopped at the counter and bought a cup of tea, because she didn't really drink coffee, and a pastry.  Kristin pretended to look around for a place to sit before walking over to Chad's table and sitting down.

"Hey!" Kristin said.  She lowered her voice to a whisper.  "I did it.  I morphed my dog."

Sean showed Olivia the password to the apartment complex's gate when they arrived. They weren't bad apartments, but Sean still felt weird about having company there. This wasn't time to worry about that, though. He led Olivia and Tarry into his apartment on the second floor. Fortunately, no one was out, so most likely no one had seen his guests.
"Well, home sweet home..." he said. It was weird... he'd never minded where he lived before, but now it was awkward. "I can show you around if you like, but we have to go real soon. You can put your..." He was going to tell Olivia to put her luggage in the second room, but then he remembered she hadn't exactly planned for this visit. "...shoes on the carpet; I don't mind. The landlord might if it gets real dirty, but anyways..."

Brian was really enjoying the massage chair he'd found at the little electronics store. I need one of these..., he thought.

Olivia took the only possessions she had left, lose bills that she removed from her wallet, her customs ID badge and her gun, and laid them on the table.  As she looked at the only things left from her old life she contemplated her new one.  Why me?  I fail at so many things so why should I join them?  Not like I have a choice now.  But I'm the only one that has controllers searching for them.  I've already failed.  "Do you still think I should go to the coffee shop?  I can't really go as Jo or myself."

Josefina began the walk to the coffee shop.  She didn't have a car and hated parallel parking.  She knew that people in cities were more likely to walk from place to place.  "Get used to the city, you're in it now."

"Well, you don't have to go 'human' at all..." he said. He was a little reluctant to suggest someone else morph for something so simple as a conversation. And because he hadn't yet. "Oh, uh... It's ten minutes till two. We should go soon."
"Tarry, you might have to stay here... sorry, but you'd like a little conspicuous."

Olivia had to pick a morph fast.  She looked over at Tarry who could nether morph or be his true self.  Unfortunately Tarry and Sean were the only other living things she saw.  "Maybe I should stay with Tarry."

<I will remain in this dwelling,> Tarry gave a sigh, <I was fine with this form at first, but it comes with disadvantages.> Tarry turned his head to the side to look at Olivia, <You should go to this...Coffee shop. You will need to know all you can about the teams new plans.> Tarry gave a whistle, what humans would describe as a "wolf whistle", he had heard many human males whistle this near human females on the primitive human sea going transport. It cheered him, he did not know why.
Meh.
