Zorish bites his lip, absorbing Myitt's suspicious expression and recognizing it as potential trouble, although he isn't entirely sure of what is going on. When Myitt's hand starts to reach for the Dracon he lets out a little yelp.

"I thought you said you weren't going to kill me!" he cries, wincing back against the wall and ignoring the question that was clearly directed towards him.

<The rebel is suspicious,> Zorish says to Derrel needlessly, <this may not end well for us.>

<Oh man. I shouldn't have listened to you. They're going to be mad at me and not take me home. Your plan won't get anywhere.> Derrel said.

"Give it up, Zorish," Myitt says dully.  "We know that Tamora is no longer infested, and let's face it, there aren't very many places you could've gone.  We also know that there is one too many infested human males on this ship."

Ossanlin's hand closes around the grip of his right-side shredder, flipping the restraining-strap back.  <<Yes, a conundrum indeed, though one I'm not terribly worried about at the moment.>>

<I know you're scared and confused Derrel, you got dragged into this because you were unlucky.  While I'm sure whichever Imperial you're harboring has told you all sorts of nasty things about us, I would ask you to remember that they are the ones invading your planet, not us.  I'm sure you've had Empires...dictators rule your lands in the past.  That is what the Imperial Yeerks do, they enslave other races and conquer other peoples, obliterating those who stand in their way, regardless of the livelihood of others.  My people, and the rebels, are fighting to stop them.  We are at war, and atrocities happen in war on both sides.  I will not tell you that the Andalites, my race, are pure.  We have committed atrocities as well, much as your people have used nuclear weaponry on members of your own race to stop conflict and bring relative peace to your world.  We are not going to kill you, we're not in the business of killing innocent prisoners.  We will be able to let you go later, but we must deal with the true prisoners first.>

Ossanlin ****s his head a bit, easing his Shredder in its holster.  <And while whichever Yeerk is infesting you is rather a good actor...they apparently do not have enough skill to outwit a Gleet bioscan, though I really can't blame them...Gleet bio-detectors are quite infallible.>

Derrel didn't really trust either side. Obviously both sides things that "good guys" shouldn't do. <I guess you're busted. You can go back to your host now. Maybe we won't all die, even though the big Andalite keeps saying he won't kill me. I find it hard to believe they aren't in the business of killing prisoners when they keep saying they have to kill Tamora. I guess they just consider her expendable collateral damage.>

Sukohn was obviously displeased, and let it show on his face. "Fine. whatever."

(Not sure if a homeless person should know what collateral means, but I can't easily think of a synonym for collateral to use.)

<They are filthy liars,> Zorish spits, <they say that they are not in the business of killing prisoners and yet they massacred an entire planet full of helpless beings rather than allow us to show them a world beyond their own. Massacred. Tens of thousands dead, more damage than we Yeerks have ever done. Do not trust them, human.>

Once Zorish has finished with his tirade he drops his arms fully and stands up, a look of disgust written across his face, "A Gleet BioFilter. Very good. Adjusted to merely scan rather than emit a deadly energy pulse. Cheaters."

He crosses his arms and glances down at Tamora, who is looking at him in disbelief for unveiling his position so quickly, and shrugs slightly as he speaks to the cabin at large, "You can hardly blame me for trying to escape. While my death may be inevitable I do not know many Yeerks who will simply accept Kandrona starvation. Besides, I was tiring of being frozen in place by those damn energy ropes." He flexes his fingers as though to emphasize his point, gaze falling on Myitt's Dracon Beam.

"I suppose you're going to shoot me now?" He asks in a bored voice.

Derrel didn't disbelieve Zorish. He also didn't try to convince Zorish to go back to Tamora before getting shot. Either way a Human would die. Though part of him would rather someone else die, it did make him feel guilty thinking that.

<This is all his fault.> He said, referring to Sukohn.

Myitt smiles snidely, keeping the Dracon trained on Derrel and moving it just a hair higher, at his chest.  "It would be a lot quicker than Kandrona starvation," she mocks.  "But then I'd be killing an innocent human, and I can only try to do that once in one day.  It's really quite a strain."

<I suppose we could always memory-wipe you Zorish, and send you back to your people.  I don't know that Visser three would be terribly happy about your absence however.  He may not look kindly upon you when you return, especially if you return without your voluntary host.  Voluntaries are quite a loss, all things considered.>  Ossanlin keeps his Shredder resting barely inside his holster.  <And we will NOT be killing any innocent humans...if you refuse to go into a pool now until we can decide what to do with you, we'll be forced to restrain Derrel as well so that you can't get into any more mischief...a swim in a nutrient pool or more immobilization, the choice is yours.>

Zorish crosses Derrel's arms, glancing down at Tamora protectively, "I have no intents to abandon my voluntary host. If you can conduct a memory wipe and release me to the Empire than you can do so without compromising my host situation. For some reason, though, you seem determined to separate us." Zorish frowns, his narrowed gaze flickering between Tamora, Ossanlin and Myitt, "I think that perhaps this entire heist may have nothing to do with me after all. You are after her, aren't you?"

"I wouldn't be surprised. I was thinking something was fishy earlier. I'm interested to see how this drama plays out. How long until we reach our destination, anyway?"

<I can't wait to get off this ship.> Derrel said.

"What we're after is no concern of yours," Myitt snaps.  "You're the one who left your own damn host, and refused to save her life to protect your own, you coward."

"You wouldn't have killed her," Zorish scowls, although he has no way to be certain about that fact, "I left my host to save both of us. There is a difference between cowardice and self-preservation."

Tamora, who has been relatively silent during the exchange, makes a small squeaking noise, as though she is trying to get up the nerve to speak. She quickly silences herself, though, not wanting to bring any more attention to herself than necessary.

"You want her," Zorish goes on, gesturing to his immobilized host, "and I want to know why. It seems incredibly odd for you, a member of the rebellion. Isn't your entire existence based on the theory that the fault of the Empire is the enslaving of involuntaries, and that we should reach a mutual agreement with our hosts? This is no rescue effort. It is a kidnapping."

Zorish nods to Sukohn, agreeing with his inquiry, "I, too, would like to know where we are gong and how long it will be until we arrive. I have a feeling that it is a place that would not allow me to return to my home easily, no matter what you say."

<Pot calling the kettle black. She may be a murderer of prisoners, but at least she isn't a coward.> Derrel said sarcastically. <Though I guess she would have gotten in trouble with that Ossanlin guy is she killed Tamora, so Tamora may not have been killed anyway. I don't mean to sound difficult or anything, but could you leave my head now? If they won't let you back in tamora, then go in the pool, or whatever. I'd rather not be strapped to a bed again.>

"Self-preservation, for you, yes.  You would've left your host to die!" Myitt cries.  "You almost had me convinced that you grudgingly thought of Tamora as an equal, but I see now that you're hardly a close enough friend that you'd risk your own life for her.  Is it so difficult to accept that we might have heard about you, and undertaken the dual task of extracting your knowledge and freeing your host?  I am, as you say, one of those sickeningly host-happy traitors."  She turns to Ossanlin in a huff.  "I think we should restrain him until he decides that leaving that human, there, is his only option, if he wants to survive a bit longer."
