<Shh....> Zorish hisses internally. He lifts his head from his hands, his face scrunched up with the concern that Derrel was feeling naturally. It was not difficult to imitate the man. His emotions were easy to read, and there was really very little acting involved.
"Why do you want to hurt someone who is already your prisoner?" Zorish asks, reiterating Derrel's own thoughts, "what did she do that was so bad anyways?"
<I told you they were the bad guys,> Zorish adds to Derrel privately, <they have no regard for anyone, not even their captives.>
Tamora, meanwhile, locks her jaw as Sukohn mentions 'Sub-Visser'. I have to act the part, she reminds herself, although she can't help but wonder why Zorish did not jump to her rescue. Clearly she was in peril. Would Zorish really sacrifice her? It didn't seem possible, and yet he had not stopped Myitt from trying to use the killing device. No matter, she chides herself, you need to think about yourself and staying alive.
"No," she clears her throat, doing her best to imitate Zorish's delivery, "I will not leave my host. She wants me here, and I will remain until she asks me to leave."
