Kevin's right; at least when and where I bought my books (a Barnes & Noble in North Carolina), the first half dozen in the series were $3.99, and the rest were $4.99.

It's too early to be guessing prices, but I wouldn't expect them to be costing the same as they did 10 years ago. Especially if they're bringing them all out with fancy covers.

As for the $3.99/$4.99 confusion, they were originally $3.99 US, but were increased by $1 starting at book #20 until the end of the series.
