((Crazy, I saw it as blue also.  XD  And yes, I tried to describe what I remembered from the books.))

Ossanlin nods to Thordon.  <If you feel it would help, I do use alot of energy to make the transition both there and back.  I don't know exactly how well our energies will mix...but any support is welcome.  I'm only the tourguide anyway, Mar can exist in the Timestream quite comfortably and can get there much more easily than myself.  The physical contact is only to make certain that we enter in the exact same location.>

Ossanlin concentrates, open to any support from Mar and Thordon both, and the very air and light around the three seems to fold in on itself, space twisting around all three.  Ossanlin feels the familiar wrenching and closes his eyes as he passes through the void into the timestream.  Images barrage his mind from all directions, memories from his past and ghostly images from infinite futures.  He builds his mental barriers and shuts out the images, but he can still feel them battering against the somewhat tenuous walls around his mind.  He maintains the illusion of his physical form even though he is purely energy in this place.  He thinks about one thought, his mind clear of everything else.  A powerful memory, scene in his mind that seems almost real as he holds that image, that place in his mind.

Infinite streams of light flow in all directions, twisting and writhing, alive and in motion.  Suddenly they seem to move in a different way, almost as if they are moving past the three beings while the three seemingly don't move themselves.  What seems like both a moment and an eternity later, the three are at Ossanlin's memory, that of his graduation day from the academy.  Memories were always easier to recall when linked with strong emotion, and Ossanlin thought this would be a fitting place.  A thin strand of fibrous light is looped gently around the stream of Ossanlin's past, trailing off to a small bundle of light strands woven together in an oval shape.  Ossanlin gives the illusion of raising his hand to point at the coccoon.  <There, that is your avatar Mar.>  Less than a speck of light in an infinite number of lights that extended throughout all existance.  The images began breaking down his mental barriers...it had not taken them as long this time.  He fights them off, but the illusion of his face shows the stress on his mind.

When Thordon is thrust into the new dimension, he suddenly feels completely at peace. He feels... nothing, actually. He sees Ossanlin struggling to keep control of his mind as they dart in and out of his memories. Thordon goes to tarse, but instead what he meant to activate with his gestures, activated from his Will.

A stream of light emanated from Thordon's "heart", split into two and connected to Ossanlin's hearts? Two hearts? Two hearts. Thordon willed the flow to go only to Ossanlin, and not to allow any back. He kept the connection active so that Ossanlin could use it whenever necessary.

"Oh yes, drinks! That's right. I was buying the next round wasn't I?" John said as he finally snapped out of his own little world.

Standing up, he said to The Bartender "I'll have two of whatever Gaz and Morgan are having- no wait, make that three."

As he said that, the bartender just gave him a strange look and he then placed three pint sized mugs and a large bottle of Rum on the bar top.

Picking up the glasses in one hand and the bottle in the other, he placed them on the table with one glass for each of them.

Filling up each mug, John said "Cheers" and he took a swig of the dark coloured rum.

Ossanlin feels strength flowing into him, a different type of energy.  He can see flows of energy extending from Thordon and draws deeply on them, using the energy to rebuild his mental barriers.  He's still stressed by the barrage, but it is much more tolerable.  He nods again to Thordon and glances at Mar before carefully untying the thread from his memory, drawing the coccoon toward his own form, the coccoon approaching.

His fingers appear to work dextrously even though it is really just his mind doing the unweaving, and the threads of the coccoon begin to part.

<Security,> Efaen nods, <that seems respectable enough. Piloting always interested me, but I agree that it makes you vulnerable. Besides, fighter pilots belong to their own elite group of warriors, and as far as I know females have yet to penetrate that wall.>

She glances around the ship, her main eyes falling on the comm link, looking troubled. Terenia could wait, she decides, shifting her gaze back to Claxter.

<I'm a bit hungry, I think. Would it be alright if we left the ship? I could do with stretching my legs.>

--

"This bar seems to have quite a few unusual properties," Terenia comments. She begins shuffling through the computer interface, "Pong. Awesome," she says, pulling up the game.

"You know," Terenia says almost casually as she plays, "I really hope Efaen comes to a decision quickly. It would really suck if Visser Three got sick of waiting for me and sent someone looking for us."

<I'm sure that would be all right, if that is what you want.> Claxter said. He went to the hatch to open it, and took a short look outside after he did. Prince ssanlin was nowhere in sight. He said he had to d something, and claxter guessed it was in another area. <Let's go for a walk. Perhaps there is a nice area by the water where the gras is healthy and moist.>

Corliss pulls a very human, folding metal chair over to the pool from a small storage compartment.  He pauses as he sits down, staring at the pool.  "You don't think he'd send someone, do you?  If you're so important to him, he must be wondering why you've been gone so long.  What excuse did you give him for running off, anyway?"

Thordon witnesses the artful way Ossanlin unweaves the cocoon. He takes a minute to observe his surroundings. He sees the personal timelines of every Andalite in attendance at the graduation. Some lines appear to intertwine momentarily, some producing one and some producing two alternate lines, "Children..." Thordon says, not realizing he's saying it aloud. He watches as some of the lines darken and disappear, "Death..." The pure amass of lines in the moment that they are in right now are hard to follow, but with a legend to decipher the lines, I'm sure reading the lines would be a lot like watching a soap opera. "This is truly amazing." Thordon wishes to thank Ossanlin for bringing him along, but reserves his gratitude for after he has successfully unwoven Mar's avatar.

"Not much of one," Terenia admits, "I told him I was investigating something that I had found, which I suppose was true, but it's rather vague. I was already running late when I landed here, and he isn't exactly the most patient person in the world. I wouldn't doubt it if he sent someone after I contacted him earlier, just to watch me. He doesn't trust me," she says wryly.

<Excellent,> Efaens says, leading the way off of the ship. She closes her hooves to the relatively mucky ground around them, deciding that it would be best to hold out for the water Claxter had mentioned. She looks back up at him, smiling with her eyes.

<Are you coming, warrior?> She asks playfully.

<Right with you.> He said, and walked towards a lake that he had seen earlier. The nearby water gave the grass the nutrients it needed to become thicker and fuller, as would be expected. Zoshonel and someone whose name escaped him were already there, ad he gave them some acknowledgement as he passed by, looking for a nice clear spot along the shore. Noticably there was ice in the water, which he felt was strange given the current temperature.

(Gah! Sorry for my absence yesterday. I was in the car all day. Yeah, Gaz is a normal human.)

Gaz raised her glass.

"Cheers," she said. "Thanks for the drink."

Morgan did the same.

Gaz was about to take another sip of her drink when Fletcher pushed a large box into the bar.

"What in the verse is that?" Gaz asked. "And why are you bringing it in here?"

"It appeared outside," Fletcher said.

"Appeared?" Gaz asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I imagine it got here same way we did," Fletcher said. "However it got here though, it's addressed to you."

"O..k," Gaz said slowly. "Am I supposed to be excited that I got a package? I would still love to know how it got here to where we are."

Fletcher shrugged. "Chance maybe. Or maybe Cortex had something to do with it getting here. He knows where we are. He's the only one in our verse. I'm sure Cavan ended up here on pure accident and saw Morgan's ship."

Gaz bent over the box, it looked sturdy so it could survive space. It was addressed to "Roshna Vondran" which was Gaz's real name. She found a button which released the latch.

Some sort of steam rose from the box and Gaz fanned it away with her hand. When it cleared enough for her to see, Gaz's drink fell from her hand and crashed to the floor.

Gaz's eyes went wide and she breathed in sharply. She didn't say anything.

Fletcher looked at her face and then looked in the box. His reaction was to jerk back and swear loudly. Which was completely out of character for him.

Lying in the box was the body of a human male. The only thing out of the ordinary was the small, clean hole in the middle of his forehead.

(Let's get some backstory for Gaz and Fletcher going, eh?)
