((Yes, Firefly is the greatest thing ever!

Mar calmly watches the interweaving threads of Ossanlin's past and his possible futures weaving together, sifting through the memories with a slight smile evident in his feelings. These are quite exposed once he is in the Timestream; it is difficult to hide anything here. <Ah, so you are my friend,> states Mar with a confident tone in his "voice." <How perfectly inane. Still, I must admit that keeping the incarnation for so long gives me the same advantage my enemies already have. I need that information, that mortality to proceed in at least one possible direction.>
Mar then carefully attempts to help Ossanlin undo the strands around his body. He's not entirely sure he is ready to exit in such a weak form, but he suspects the foolish Prince will help him. Images of Mar's own past intrude on the space, despite his best attempts to push them away. An ancient image of himself, young and simple-minded and very loyal. Much like one of Ossanlin's warriors. Images of thousands of lives with varying endings, some of them fruitful and complicated and others wasted. A woman of another race expressing her love for him, the woman herself connected to a person in the Bar from Ossanlin's memories. A fight with a powerful warship Mar knows well, seemingly made of shards of crystal. Mar winces uncomfortably. <We...should leave. The longer we stay, the more all of the lines of Fate connecting to all three of us will be exposed. Is my body ready yet?>

Keshin grins. "Well, better to have a simple plan than no plan at all," he mutters as he wanders closer to Myitt. He understands Myitt's concern. It is hardly easy maintaining the life he and Joanne have had to run all this time. "And...don't worry too much about our expenses, Elayne. I was just wondering what was possible. I can't show you...exactly what's wrong because I think you'd get a little freaked out. And it expends too much of Joanne's energy. And..." Keshin rolls his eyes. "Yes, Myitt. I did make a deal with Corliss. Let's not air that dirty laundry in public, shall we?"
