Gelia's eyes darkened.  "When I was banished, my family was put on constant surveillance.  Nothing would escape their notice. It was easier to leave.  And...I think my sister understands...sorta .  She begged me not to ge.  But...I had to protect her.  She's younger than me, you see.  I know she's old enough to make her own choices and all that.  But..."

Gelia sighed.  "I'm starting to half-regret, half-be satisfied with what I did.  I have to live this life, but my sister doesn't."

She stopped abruptly.  She had just started talking, and then all her story just came tumbling out of her mouth.  "Er...yeah."  She finished rather lamely.  She smiled sheepishly.  "Sorry...I just...haven't really told this story.  Sorry for talking your ear off."

<I'll ay he's different. I have met some nice Princes, but they were all unified in their hatred for Yeerks. At least when someone was watching. I do no know who they are when they are alone, but Prince Ossanlin is very open about being on friendly terms with certain Yeerks. He did reprimand Corliss, though. I'm sure he is unhappy with them.>

"Eh, it's okay. I like hearing stories If you want to know something, I'm a bit selfconscious about my age. I like people to believe that I'm a mature adult when I'm really just barely of age. Truthfully there are Draksar my age that are more mature and experienced than I am, which is part of the reason I left. I want to see the galaxy and learn new things so I can have a thing or two to brag about as well."

Silver tok his hand and stood up, and then linked her arm around his at the elbow. She smiled at him and let him lead her back to the bar. "I don't even think Father remembers you owe him a drink." she laughed.

"Haha, probably not; not with all that's happened. And even though I don't have any money, I'm sure I can work something out with the bartender." As they passed Ossanlin, Mar, and the strange four-armed being, Parker kept his eyes on their group. He didn't want to be caught off guard in case something weird were to happen.

Silver wasn't sure what caused it, but she could feel a flow of magick, though it was small and slow, when they entered the bar. It made her shiver a little which it always did. A natural reaction to her sensitivity.

<Yes, he is quite outspoken...> she says, trailing off as she wonders how an Andalite managed to be so successful with such unpopular allies. She turns away from the issue, not quite ready to discuss or think about the Yeerk threat and the weighty decision ahead of her, <What do you specialize in, then?>

<Like I said, I haven't picked a specialty. I'm good at all the basics, but I feel I want to be on the ground. I don't want to make piloting my career because I always feel a bit vulnerable flying around in space. If they disable my ship then there isn't much I can do. I'm not sure if I'd fit in well on the front lines, though. I may specialize in security. Holding places that have already been secured.>

((Mar first, since a lot of people are waiting on his post. Sorry guys! ))

Mar nods at Ossanlin and grips one of his hands with his right, using the other to draw a peculiar trail of black energy through the air. Mar then draws the energy across the portal and laces it through, strengthening it. "I can help you so that you won't be as exhausted inside. In this form, I have no difficulty shifting states. I don't know why you're helping me exactly, or why I am not bothered by you. But it is significant, is it not? My avatar is ahead, sir."

Mar glances at Thordon with a nod. "You are of the type to pass such entrances with ease. Go ahead if you wish. Much of what the Andalite says is true. But be wary: traveling through this particular dimension can be tricky if you are not used to the effects."

Joanne glances a bit nervously at Elayne and gulps, shifting from side to side. "You wouldn't happen to have any advancements concernin'---mutant properties or genetic disorders? Like cancer or some such ****?"

<You don't even know if this will work, Joanne. She wouldn't know what we meant unless we demonstrated, and that might actually make her cringe and run in fear for all we know.>

<You're not givin' her enough credit, Kess. She can handle whatever we dish out. Besides, she might know."

Gelia smiled.  "Oh, bragging rights.  One of the most fun things about winning something.  Well, this bar is certainly an eventful place.  You'll have plenty of great stories to tell.  I've barely been here an hour and already someone has fallen unconscious twice, Dracons have been drawn, etcetera."

Elayne considered Joanne's words a few moments before shaking her head. "Like I said," she shrugged, "I really don't know much about medicine. There has been some progress in certain kinds of radiotherapy for some tough cancers. Sometimes the doctors have success, and sometimes they don't. It's not like a cure-all for cancer has been found or anything. You sick?" she asked bluntly.

"Heh heh. At this point all that commotion seems like a common occurance. Although if I go home and tell my old friends I might just be the life of the party." Zoshonel said. "It certainly isn't boring for too long a time, but tere are breaks in between. Do your people have a problem with you going to different planets? If it's just about your home planet, then it might not be too big an issue to get a job somewhere on a different world. You could join up with one of the two pirate crews. Some pirates tend to be viscious and untrustworthy, but these are a good lot. Quite friendly. The I suppose there are the guys I work wit, Temrash and Jagill. emrash is working on helping his people through the war, and could always use more contacts and resources. If you have anything to offer, Temrash can help you out too."

Gelia tilted her head to one side.  "My people don't have a problem with me going to different planets in banishment, the different planets have problems with me.  Banishment is a serious punishment, and doesn't happen often, so they know I must have done something horrible.  And...who are the pirate crews?  I don't really know anyone around here..."
