I hate to say it, but I think I'm going to drop out of this for now.  I'm just not on here long enough now-a-days, and as much as I'd like to be a part of it (I really really would), I don't even understand what's going on with it anymore.  SO yeah.  Sorry.  I'm just being realistic here and admitting I'm bowing out 'cause I'm completely lost, and don't really have the time or energy to catch up as much as I need to.

Yeah, this project just sort of died.

Jess attempted to jump start it, but no one else really caught on. She set up roles, help bring the wesite to life, but no one really did anything.

Yeah. I asked for people to commit, and have asked for people to put their roles up...but it's not so much happening. A project like the E-books is so much easier. You can be independent and do it at your own pace. This project is such a huge collaboration, and involves so many people, it's difficult unless everyone is willing to really do their part and do it in a timely manner.

So, when people are ready to really get to work on this, I'm game, and I'm willing to keep doing my part. However, until then...? It can't work unless everyone does their part. :)

Heh heh...yeah.
I hate myself for this.
How's about this:

To-Do:
PM all actors involved in chapters 1-10 (That's how far we have the site set up)
Get a list of director-timer pairs.
Establish a schedule for actors to have their lines in by. (personally, a deadline would help me tremendously)

How about a "kick-off" date once we have people ready, where we can officially say, "Let's all get to work"

Sound good?

I'd like that, but realistically deadlines only work if there's a reprecussion for not meeting it.

I have my lines in. Unless Tom is in the first part of the book. Which I'm pretty sure he's not. My director has yet to comment on them just yet.

Ok, sure. How about a suggested completion time instead. It's kind of harsh to punish someone for not volunteering.

Gotta go do homework. Anyone wanna put together either the director list or a mass pm? I'll do one or the other when my homework is done.

Director list? Huh? I have the directors/timers paired up by chapter on the site if you look at it.



I will get to work on adding more chapters/parts in a week or so when I'm not so swamped with Parent Teacher conferences and IEP's.

yea I agree with parker about repercussions, there needs to be an absolute deadline for getting your stuff in or you lose the part

and honestly its not a big deal if the voice actors change from book to book, obviously it would be better if they didnt but w/e its better to at least get this thing out in some form

and ive already done my part for 1 and mm1 lol
