Note: Below are main and secondary characters. Minor characters, that appear in only one book, for example, can be done by anyone (I think). Better check to see, first, just in case I'm wrong.

Characters that have been taken and are needed soon:

yea we should get some announcements out there that tobias is up for grabs, its been through the audiobook boards for awhile so i think all of the people with minor parts have had their chance to claim it

maybe we should make a thread in the general board or something, get the word out

I would recommend getting a cheap one, but cheap mics produce cheap sound, so if you really feel like getting a mic, get a decent one. I don't have any real ideas for a good cheap mic because I'm using a professional vocals mic through a powered mixer. Yay for a musical family!

Um...so, just out of curiosity, at what point is the whole audiobook thing? I'm just kind of sitting around waiting for people to need me, but I'd like to get things moving again if I could.

What do you need? Besides a Tobias (I'm a girl, so I don't think that would work too well). Where is everyone? How is the recording going? What's the holdup?

the holdup...is I don't know. I'm just in charge of my (note the use of the word my) cast list.

just do any character that comes up in the books. just don't do any of the main or secondary characters up there unless the original person left. How about estrid...no one's claimed that yet.

where is everyone...don't know that either. busy with their lives i guess

how's the recording going...the results (which are still drafts) are in another thread called audiobooks available

Alright, so I finally got my mic working again. I'll try a couple lines tonight and see if I can get a small sample with editing done. Any specific book/chapter/page I should do first?
