<It's one of your first kills as a free person. I understand that it is difficult, and I'm sorry for pressuring you, but we really DO need to help Leah.>
I told him, as we made our mad dash to where Leah was trapped.
<Maybe we can sneak up on them.>
I crouched in the bushes behind one Controller. The man across from him did not see me. Good.
My muscles tensed.
<Hang in, there, Leah. Don't give me away.>
I sprang upward, grabbed the Controller by the neck, and flipped him to the ground, severing his spine and crushing his windpipe. I dove at the second man and pinned him to the ground, just as he raised the Dracon Beam. Heat lacerated my thigh, but even an injured jaguar is hundreds of times stronger than the strongest human.
<Don't move, if you don't want to die in pain. I don't NEED to kill you, but I can.>
He whimpered his agreement.
It's hard to disagree with the three hundred pound cat on your chest.
<Are there any others, guys?>
