Well, I'd feel more involved if I wasn't completely ineffectual as a player. X) Having Ossanlin find out about what happened without intercepting Keshin's communication makes me feel a little....pointless? And depressingly, there's really no way for him to logically find out what they tried to do in order to increase their involvement in the story. The only player characters who do know probably wouldn't see a reason to bring it up.

The only thing I can think of doing is having them take Salem up on his offer while the others are gone, but I can't see them doing something that stupid this early on. So yeah, it might be a plot-related Catch-22. 

I guess we'll see what we can figure out later.

I have been guilty of quitting RPs simply because I don't know what to do with my character. Still, you can have them interact with people on the ship, and work on the nothlit objective.

XD Not really. More like heart of really terrible off-brown bronze, but at least it's a mild upgrade from pig iron as of the GESB. :p

And at least it'll now be possible to enter the story more directly. :}

Sure.  You could use QPC's, or have Kes and Joanne follow to medbay despite the restriction.  Kes might be able to spin the emergency into some sort of excuse for violating said restriction, thus getting into the interaction with Aetheas and Varekil as well as possibly earning more kudos.  ^^

Sorry for my utter lack of posting, guys. Had my car stolen on Friday and didn't get it back until today. It's kind of destroyed my mood and motivation to do pretty much anything. I'll get a post up today or tomorrow.

I am so ready to try out my paranoid controller character. Thinking it's a trap, and all that fun stuff.

Just sort of waiting on when Jessi can post, and I have no control over that.  I would feel really bad about roleplaying this first rendezvous without at least one of the Rebellion's original players.

Yeah, that wouldn't seem right. And yes, Akbar has been on my mind too. I think even a reasonably paranoid person would be suspicious of this idea, and Xevec is often too paranoid. I'm thinking of him having a flashback, like a door malfunctions in a tunnel when he's with a group, and he thinks they've finally conspired to kill him. So he goes into this panicked rant, and as soon as he's done the door opens.

And yeah, I'm waiting for the others to get back before I send Kess and Joanne's next post too. I don't actually have to, mind you....But it feels weird, otherwise.
