"Wow" Michael said dumbfounded. "How do we get in? I don't know where to walk, I mean it's invisible. What is there a walkway or something?" Ok he was definitely scared now. He was talking faster than normal, and he only does that when he's scared. Then he watched how Tia got in. "Ok, so we just step in. I can do that." and with that, he slowly but surely walked inside. And suddenly it was no longer invisible.

Denise ran into The Sharing building, not caring about who she ran over in the process. She was such in a state of frenzy, that she wasn't paying attention to where she was going and smacked straight into someone, literally knocking herself to the ground.

Without a moment's hesitation, Denise sprang to her feet and faced the guy she had bumped into. He appeared to be around 16, and seemed to have a more authoritative air to him that most teenagers usually possessed. "Oh, thank god" said Denise breathlessly.

"A fight broke out out there, and these people had guns...and were about to shoot each other!" she said to the teenage boy. "We really need to call the cops...there are innocent kids out there with those psychopaths!".

Normally, Denise carried her cell phone with her, but as dumb luck would have it, she had lost it somewhere in the mess that was her apartment and had no time to look for it without being late to the introductory meeting of The Sharing. Little good that did her.

Corliss was helping Michael into the ship when something hit him hard from behind.  He gasped, all the wind knocked out of him, and the Dracon in his hand slipped and went clattering to the sidewalk next to him.  He turned around, weaponless and still coughing, ready to either put up a fight or just choke and get shot, depending on how lucky he was...

Kaitlyn rushed to the Dracon, which she had successfully knocked from Mike's hand, and snatched it from the ground, aiming it at his head.

"You have fifteen seconds to back away from the ship and get those humans off board," she growled.

Tia made a move to grab her gun, that was suppose to be tucked into the back of her pants. The space was decidedly empty, though. She frowned, then gasped as Norpo shuffled through her memories at top speed to see what the hell had happened to it. They both saw two Dracons, one going to clatter on the ground, then nothing. She had completely forgotten it. Squinting, she tried to see if it was still on the ground. Not that would help Mike a whole lot, but she was rather worried. If someone found it in the morning, who knew what would happen. She turned to the figure in the ship and asked, "Do you have any weapons?"

Michael gaped at the scene outside the ship. "Do you have any weapons?" Tia asked. "Weapons?" Michael said mouth even wider now. "Let me guess, this is gonna get really ugly, really fast, isn't it?"

Aurora, suddenly remembering the Dracon behind her back, became unfrozen very quickly. She saw Kaitlyn grab the gun and point it at Mike. Okay, she decided, this girl is definitely not one of the good guys. Then again, she still wasn't entirely sure about Mike and Tia. She backed away from all of them, keeping out of arms reach, and pulled out the Dracon Beam, pointing it at Kaitlyn.

"Put the gun down." She said, trying to sound confident as she held the gun awkwardly.

Corliss stepped back, then froze, glaring at Kaitlyn.  He was about to say there wasn't a snowball's chance in hell about that, when his thoughts were interrupted by the pilot.

"I think you should do what the kid says," shouted a young white woman with curly brown hair, in jeans and a black jacket, over the drone of the ship.  Her voice was a bit harder to recognize now that wasn't blasting through a megaphone, berating everyone for being idiots.

She was standing next to Michael and Tia in the ship, aiming her own Dracon down at Kaitlyn.  "Well?" she continued gratingly.  "You can kill him, but it'll be the dumbest thing you've ever done." The young woman flashed a quick grin.  "What's it gonna be?"

Meanwhile, there was quite a commotion coming from inside The Sharing building.  More people were starting to notice that something was very, very wrong outside.  Red light flashed off of the brick building, shining in through the windows.

<Oh, she has my Dracon beam,> Tia said non-chalantly, glancing at Aurora.
<Oh, that's where it went. Wait. She has your Dracon beam!> Norpo slid into control and said, a note of panic in his voice, "Uh, kid. Listen. Give me that Dracon beam before you hurt yourself."

"No way." Aurora said, although she still sounded uncertain. She didn't take her eyes off of Kaitlyn. "I still don't know who to trust here. So far as I see it, all you guys have done since we got here is beat up one another and point guns at eachother. Both you -" she gestures at Kaitlyn with the Dracon, "-and Mike here say that you don't mean us any harm. Well I'm just going to go ahead and call bull-sh*t on that one. Until I know, one hundred percent, who is on my side, I sure as hell am not giving this gun up."

She flushes a little at the end of her speech. She hadn't spoke so many words so fiercely in a long time...if ever. It was oddly gratifying...she felt a little unfamiliar rush of pleasure at being the one holding the gun.

Illrid was not sure what to do. She could shoot--and risk being killed by either the woman in the ship, or th other with the Dracon. That was not the best option. And then she could always run back to The Sharing building. At the risk of being shot.

She turned to face the human, but continued to watch Mike out of the corner of her eye.

"Drop your weapon and I will drop mine," she said. Kaitlyn chuckled mentally, amused by her Yeerk's pathetic attempts to stall.

"Wow" Michael said, shocked at Aurora "that was a little scary, especially considering how you acted before." Michael looked at this stalemate. "Drop your weapon and I will drop mine" Kaitlyn had said. "How strong is the metal this ship is made of?" he asked Tia.

Aurora blushed and faltered a bit at Kaitlyn's offer. "You first." She said, taking a deep breath to steady her shaking hands.

Kaitlyn scowled. "No, we drop them at the same time. On the count of three," she said firmly. "One... Two... Three." Kaitlyn tossed the Dracon beam to the asphalt and waited to see if Aurora would do the same.

Aurora blinked in surprise. She hadn't expected Tia to actually drop the weapon. She lowers the weapon so that it is no longer aiming at Kaitlyn, but does not drop it yet. She hesitates, looking around as if waiting for someone to tell her what to do.
