"Well, you're a face I haven't seen before." Jocun said, brought out of thought by someone who sat near him. The creature didn't speak to him, but perhaps was waiting to see if Jocun would speak up. "You may call me Jocun if you're familiar with Yeerks. Simon if you aren't. Have you been here before?"

Jerichi turns his head toward Jocun, looking up from his drink. "Yes... Im familiar with the Yeerks. And no. I haven't been here before. A old friend of mine was supposed to be coming. But it seems like he is a no show."

[NickGreen]

Jerichi takes a drink, then puts his cup down. "My name is Jerichi. why did you come out here?"

"I've been here before, looking for a spot to vacation where I'm not widely known. This time I came because I thought I might see a few people I met before. Besides, it's quite an interesting place. Space and time converge to bring all sorts of things here that would otherwise never meet. I can tell that two other controllers are here, but can't be sure if they're from my time or dimension."

"I think the entity that surrounds the bar may be the one who decides if someone finds this place or not. Not that I know much about the secrets of this place. The bartender never speaks, but he takes and money and will serve anything you want. Not the cleanest stuff, but it is good."

 (Oops.... Yeh. That was my bad on my part)

"Yes... I agree. There is defenetly something about this place. I may have to stick around for a bit.... A pleasure to meet you by the way. If you do not plan on having your buddy's nab me and put one of you in my head"

Jocun chuckled a bit at the last comment. "I promise I won't sneak a Yeerk into your head. I'm actually from a timeline where the war is over, and involuntary infestation is quite illegal. Partners for Yeerks are raised in a system where they have rights, and are given a Yeerk that will respect those rights as sentient beings. Of course this is just my word, so take it with a grain of salt if you want."

"I considered bringing a bodyguard here, as I did come under some danger the last time I came, but my guards tend to be quite serious and may actually cause more problems than they prevent."

[NickGreen]

"Hmm.... Il take your word for it. I share your feelings on bodyguards. Considering most from where I come from are paid, and I don't put much trust in coin. The only bodyguard I trust is the one I have strapped to my side these days. Unfourtunetly I have been needing to use it more and more lately."

"Unfortunately it's hard to find someone who can't be bought out with a big enough pile of currency. I do have to be diligent, but I think I've done a pretty good job of weeding out corruption here and there. I have my trusty sidearm too, though I also have a trick or two that people from a warring timeline may not expect."

"As you can imagine, my partner's name is Simon. He's a good guy. We get along quite well."

"So, Jocun. Sense your not from a warring timeline, what are your opinions on the Andalites?" Jerichi fixes his cap and takes another drink

"Andalites, like many species, have their good and bad points. They still think pretty highly of themselves, even though their people lost the war. Partly because much of the technology Yeerks used to wage the war was Andalite technology anyway. They are a serious people, though sometimes they can have fun too. To be honest, they haven't changed much in a hundred years, aside from being less haughty, and thinking they're automatically better than other species. In general, at least."

"What about your species?"

[NickGreen]

"My species? we were generally peaceful and tried not to go to war. But things changed allot in the past couple years.... My species where almost wiped off the face of our home world. I have been on my own for some time now. I came here today because I was supposed to be receiving good news from my father. But, it seems like he didn't make it out here... why did my species turn on itself? Its quite simple. Power. Our "leader", Haneralis Sterilif, believed that only a certain kind of my race deserved to live. Those who where born of privilege, wealth.... My father fought to stop this. My mother, she disappeared before I left world. I felt like a coward leaving my father behind... But I know now that if I stayed I would have met the fate of my mother and father."

[Chad32]

"I'm sorry to hear that. Humans like Simon are quite warlike, and the Council of Thirteen of the Yeerk Empire attempted to control the galaxy by convincing everyone that we were the masters, and dissent was met with death. Quick if you're lucky. Fortunately it isn't the easiest thing to convince a race that they are the chosen species when we're practically nothing without our hosts. There is conflict with every species. The only one I've heard of that went through their entire existence without conflict was artificially created."

"Are you worried that an enemy force might come here? I don't know if this place has ever been invaded before. There's probably something that would keep that from happening." He turned to the bartender. "What do you say? Give us a nod or shake?"

The bartender gave no response, and continued wiping the table.

"You know there are wonderful avenues through sign language."

No response.

"Yes, it seems like conflict is unavoidable with any species.  No matter how hard one may try. Then aegean conflict has the potential to strengthen a species. Making bonds formed through struggle that can last a lifetime."

[Chad32]

"Battle forged friends. Few things are better at helping people stick together than fighting a mutual enemy to prevent mutual destruction." Jocun said. Jerichi hadn't said if he thought a hostile force may follow him and his friend, but perhaps he honestly didn't know.

"And about hostile forces following me here.... My best hope is that they stay on-planet with the war. Hopefully I'm out of the grasp of them at least for the time being"
