"Mmm, I could be human at the moment," states Mar with a bit of a shrug. He pulls at his ears and looks at his hand, clenching and unclenching his fingers. He had to admit there was something wonderful about it, having a body----he could understand why mortals made this choice even despite all of the fear it brought them. "I have some unusual features, yes, but nothing that could not occur with a few choice mutations."
"Honestly, I rather like it," states Mar with a bit of a grin. "The feel of a body, the weight of it, the beauty of the senses. You have senses when you are Highest, but they seem ever so shoddy by comparison. The immediacy of it is lost."

Gallant does seem to be getting closer---- he can actually make out some kind of wood building in the distance. It looks pretty run-down. Gallant slumps, as he was hoping for a bigger sign of civilization. I suppose I will have to make do with what I have. As Gallant moves forward, he suddenly stops in his tracks reflexively as a beautiful woman comes within inches of him. "H-h-Hello, m-madame!" he says quickly in French. It was the language most likely to work in a foreign place.
Gallant sizes the woman up slightly---oh, yes. Certainly lovely, although a bit disheveled and poorly dressed. A commoner, possibly? Strange clothes she had on. "Forgive me, mademoiselle," he says, smiling casually yet attractively. He'd gotten this smile down to a science. "I didn't see you rushing this way. My name is Gallant Regale, yes of those Regales. I seem to be very lost--- might a lady like yourself know where I am?"
