Galaxy's Edge Space Bar

[Terenia]

Terenia's lips twitch up into a small, affectionate smile as she takes control again. "Corliss is fine," she says quietly. "He and Mike are back on base. They aren't particularly big fans of this place. It makes them paranoid." Her smile widens a little, and she ducks her head.

[Chad32]

"This is obviously not the safest place to be. Maybe if Al makes a new place that's somehow safer, that will be the new big thing. The rebels tend to come in small groups. If Corliss is paranoid about this place, makybe he should just make a party out of it. Bring several of his coworkers with him."

[Terenia]

Terenia snorts derisively. "That's not exactly how it works," she says dryly. "Reven isn't exactly thrilled when we run off to this place. He doesn't try to stop us, but I don't think he'd appreciate it if half the base up and left to go intergalactic bar hopping."

She looks around the bar. "Who's Al?"

[Chad32]

"Oh, I see. I can't say I'd be happy about a bunch of my soldiers or employees taking a vacation I didn't approve of. Though I guess he's not a strict military commander. I suppose deaths don't happen too often, do they?"

"Al is a robotic patron that was in here, before leaving after mentioning he was going to open his own place. Probably not completely serious about that, though."

[Myitt]

"Robotic patron?" Gene laughs, shaking his head. "I might need to become a regular here, this place is far too exciting to ignore."

He glances at Parker. "See? I wouldn't come between Terenia and Mike and Corliss." He rolls his eyes. "I'm too much of a gentleman for that sort of thing." Gene winks at Esreth and Terenia, his cheeks still a little flushed.

[Chad32]

"Yes, the bar has its good side as well as its bad. Above all else, though, this place is the strangest I've ever seen." Jocun said. "So what is the Empire of the past up to, anyway?"

[Darth Revan]

Parker puts up a hand defensively, "Hey, I was only curious. A lot can happen in a year. My first mate had a relationship that was a flash in the pan. It lasted two weeks. He thought they were made for each other, then they just fell apart quietly. She left at the next port and we never heard from her again."

He comments on Al, "Yeah, Al, apparently, is an A.I. construct inside of an android. He's got an odd sense of humor; but seems harmless enough when you're on his good side."

[Luke Skywalker (Ossanlin)]

~Ossanlin~

Ossanlin walks back down the ramp of the Mirage and heads back to the bar.  As he walks back in, he notes a few new faces before walking to the bar unconcernedly and ordering plain water, not in the mood for fermented grass at the moment.  He nods as the BT places a mostly-clean bowl of water under the bar.  He dips a hoof in and drinks, scanning the bar with his stalk-eyes.

~Rathien~

Rathien bares his fangs in a rictus of pain as he feels like every cell of his body is burning at the same time.  He can barely even hear Salem and has no idea that he's begun to morph.  He remains silent and unmoving, aside from a convulsive shiver that is simply beyond his control.  Finally the fog of pain begins to lessen and clear.  He opens his eyes which have recovered almost fully from the previous flash and has to think for a moment before remembering where he is.  He climbs to his hands and knees, the pain at least somewhat bearable now, and wraps his hands back around the handles of his fighting blades, snarling.

[Terenia]

Terenia's eyebrows furrow. "Oh yeah. Al. He's the guy that came with the **** who attacked me for trying to kill Keshin."

She rolls her eyes a little at that, and is abut to respond to Parker's relationship comment, but then the door opens and a rather familiar Andalite strolls in.

"Oh, fantastic," she mutters. "Does he ever leave here?" She scowls down into her glass of water, not particularly interested in engaging Ossanlin in conversation.

[Chad32]

"I haven't been here for very long, so I wouldn't know how long he's been here. I can't say he's too happy about me, after I told him I'm from a future where the Yeerks won." Jocun says. He still gives Ossanlin a light wave when he comes in, trying to keep things friendly.

[Darth Revan]

Parker commented, "He does seem to enjoy the patrons here. Or perhaps he's hoping to see his female friend again?" He too nods to Ossanlin and comments, "Good to see you again Ossy."

He changes the subject for Terenia and asks her, "So, Terenia, how do you enjoy being fully Human again?"

[Terenia]

Terenia toys with her tumbler of water as she considers. "It has disadvantages," she says at last, gesturing to the wide burn scar on her left shoulder. "I've missed my morphing ability on more than one occasion. But...other than that...it's been worth it. If nothing else to be out of Efaen's dapsen head. And to be able to be with Corliss and Mike without her commentary...it's definitely worth it."

[Chad32]

"So you were an Andalite controller, and didn't get along with your host? I suppose, given the timeline, this was an involuntary relationship. Better to be past that and into a healthy partnership. I believe I met her earlier, but haven't seen her around in a while. I hope both of you have better lives now."

[Terenia]

Terenia's expression darkens. "I doubt you saw Efaen here," she says flatly, glancing at Gene and emptying her glass. "Let's not talk about the dapsen Andalite. No good ever came from her."

[Chad32]

"I forget if she said her name exactly."

<Should we tell her we have an escafil device?> Simon asked.

<I'm not sure. We don't just hand out the ability to morph to everyone with a battle scar.>
