When Parker sits down next to her, Terenia raises her eyebrows. She recognizes him clearly from her previous visit -- it would be hard not to, with that armor -- but it takes her a moment of thought to remember his name.

"Parker," she finally says slowly. "Sorry, I don't think I've been here quite long enough to pass out yet. I know this place has some sort of quota to fill on my misery, but I figured it'd let me settle in first." She rolls her eyes and then is immediately distracted when she hears a familiar name, followed by the unsettling word 'capture'.

Jerking her head towards the speaker, her eyes narrow a little. "Did he say Reven was captured?" she asks, her fingers tightening around the glass as she listens for any further bits of conversation.

Salem's eyes widened for a brief second. In his heart, he'd known as soon as he'd fired that his aim was off- it was one of the instincts he'd managed to pick up over the years of marksmanship. And yet, there, on his display, was confirmation of a hit.

He only had a second to wonder before he noticed Rathien taking aim in his direction. Of course. He'd given away his position. But he realized too late. There was no time to move, only time to watch, as the sapling he was holding onto exploded. He was sent tumbling to the ground, still holding a chunk of tree trunk in his left hand, his copper weapon skittering away in the dirt and coming to a rest at the base of the large tree he'd been hiding in moments before.

Salem's broken right leg screamed in pain. Luckily, he came to rest on his left side, but his vision dimmed, and he squeezed his eyes shut and gritted his teeth against the pain. If it hurt this much through the painkillers in his system, the damage must be severe.

When he opened his eyes, he was facing the hollow of the tree. There was his weapon, and behind it, something blue... an Illusor? Salem chuckled. What were the odds that both he and Al had chosen the same tree as a hiding spot? He must have been practically sitting on it when he was in the tree, but hadn't noticed it. The thought made him laugh even more.

When Rathien called out, asking what he'd been shot with, Salem started to break down into a fit of giggles, which quickly transformed into a hoarse, retching fit of coughing. Each cough sent a sharp spasm of pain through his leg and his chest and his throat, but he didn't bother trying to change positions. Somehow, while he was still coughing, he wound up laughing in thought-speak, directed at Rathien. It was a crazed, giddy laughter that only lasted a few seconds.

<<That,>> he said, as the coughing subsided, <<is a minor procedure. We're linked now, hunter. Modified nanites. Keyed in to my vital signs.>> He paused as he coughed for another few seconds, finally finding the strength to prop himself up on one elbow. He was still invisible. Funny how hard it was to tell exactly what was injured when you couldn't see it.

<<If they detect an end to my vitals, they melt you from the inside out. I hear it's a very unpleasant way to go.>> His breathing was shallow... his ears ringing... his head pounding... An image of a hospital he'd stayed at flashed into his mind... of a patient struggling, refusing his medication, having to be restrained...

<<You are one of the least well-behaved patients I've ever heard of. Think how much smoother that would have gone if you'd just sat still.>>

Marie and Abby are my wonderful RAFsisters ^_^

Parker gave a confused look and replied, "But I carried you myself. Your Yeerk was rather insistent that it walk most the way; but it passed out on the ramp, so I placed you inside the ship. You came back in, had a drink with Myitt and her new friends, then left the bar with her. Next thing I see is you returning with a wardrobe change sans shoes and ordering water."

He looks to the robed man who helped diffuse the fight earlier. He nods, "Yes, he did." He was more interested in Tamora's apparent lack of memory. Perhaps she blacked out while her parasite controlled her.

Terenia glances at Parker, then at the stranger who mentioned someone named Reven. "I just got here five minutes ago," she says to Parker gruffly. "And Myitt is back on base. I don't have a damned clue what you're talking about. Now shut up, I'm trying to eavesdrop."

She shifts in her stool, trying to edge closer to the seated strangers.

Parker narrowed his eyes, "Tamora, are you feeling well; or is this Zorish I'm talking to? If you want to know what they're saying, I can replace my helmet and read you a transcript. Thor is keeping tabs on most conversations within my vicinity. I only caught a glimpse at their conversation before I took off my helmet."

Terenia blinks, then turns her full attention back to Parker.

"Tamora?" she repeats, a little shrilly. "Tammy is dead. She's been dead for over a year now."

Abruptly, her eyes lose focus, a tell-tale sign of internal conversation. It only lasts a couple of seconds, but when her vision clears there is an expression of paranoia on her face. "She's not here, is she? Some...some other version of her, still trying to make my dapsen life miserable, even from the grave?"

While she had her two second pause, Parker muttered, "Dead?.." moments before she started speaking again, he vocalized a realization, "Terenia?"

"I don't know if she's here anymore. I saw she left with Myitt, then I saw you go in the bar. What happened between those moments, I couldn't guess. Though there were no hostilities between them their vitals would've shown any."

Parker immediately bursts into a series of questions, "How did you get your body back? How did you join the rebellion? Last I saw you, they wanted to string you up for having Efaen involuntarily. What happened with her?"

"Woah, calm down," Terenia says at the barrage of questions. She gives the strangers who mentioned Reven one last curious glance before resolving to simply keep an ear out for the time being. Instead, she gestures the bartender back over.

"If there's a chance of my dead sister being here, I'm going to need something stronger than water," she grumbles, ordering a beer. While she waits for her order to be filled she addresses Parker's questions.

"Prince High-and-Mighty Ossanlin gave me my body back with his voo-doo Andalite powers," she says, shrugging. "I joined the rebellion from there. So did Efaen. That was a good year or more ago, though. Not sure how long, exactly. Time is kind of confusing with Reven's stupid extra-long days."

Again, her eyes track. "Yeah, about a year," she murmurs with a frown.

Parker sighs saying, "Yeah, it's been a year for me as well. I was stranded in Morgan's universe, trying to find a ship with a Z-space engine, and then trying to get back here."

Terenia nods. "Morgan was the bull-man, right?" she says. "The one that brought along the doctor with too many arms? ****, it's been awhile." Her smile is cautious, but genuine. "Well, it's good to see you. Nice to know you're, you know, still alive and all. Oh, I guess you should meet Esreth. She's the slug hanging out in my head these days." She waves half-heartedly at the space next to her ear.

Parker's eyes widen in surprise, "So, you've gone from Captain to ship, huh?" He gives a playful smile, "How do you enjoy the ironic turn-around?" Before Terenia is allowed to answer, his gaze peers a bit deeper into her eyes, though he is looking at the back of her head and he adds, "And it is a pleasure to meet you Esreth." His gaze returns to the whole of Terenia's eyes as he listens to her answer.

~Rathien~

Rathien snarls and then howls a roar as Salem speaks in that infuriating thought-speech manner.  "You lie through your teeth!"  He fires multiple times in Salem's general direction until the heat-sync pops out of its vent on top of the gun and the safe-guards kick in to keep the Entroper from melting itself apart.  He pulls the trigger a few more times, trigger clicking futilely before he lowers the weapon and holsters it.  He doesn't notice that both his hearing and sight are returning faster than before, and the injuries he'd sustained after jumping from the tree have nearly vanished.

As he walks toward Salem's location, he draws both fighting knives with a flourish, looking for Salem's true body, the illusions still broadcasting as powerfully as before.  "I'll cut the truth out of you Tobias!  I'll make you tell me, and then you'll beg for the death you deserve!"  He casts about with his eyes, the blurry shapes resolving into sharper and sharper images, the dull throbbing in his ears subsiding.

"Revan...the name sounds familiar.  Was he not the Sith Lord who escaped the darkness and returned to the light after making use of a machine that ran off of Dark Side energy?"  He finishes his tumbler of alcohol and signals the BT for another.

Garreth shook his head, "No, you must be mistaken. Revan is not Sith. He's the greatest Jedi I know. He fights only for peace and to liberate those under oppression. He's never hurt an innocent in his life. The only dark side to Revan is that he openly disagrees with the council's decision to stay out of the Mandalorian Wars. I know they have a greater wisdom than us; but we can't sit idly by while millions are slaughtered. That's why we Revanchists fight them ourselves." Garreth speaks with pride, though there is a slight worry in his eyes. Could this Jedi's information be true, just further ahead of Garreth's own time? Could their fighting cause them to lose sight of the Jedi way? No, it wasn't possible. He was most certainly mistaken.

~Raile~

Raile gives Garreth a doubtful look before continuing.  "Perhaps there is more than one Revan?  Though the one I'm speaking of would seem to fit your timeline.  Perhaps someone merely takes his name."  He shakes his head and glances over at the bar, noticing his drink setting on the counter.  He sighs and wafts it over to himself, setting it on the table in front of him.

"The one that I'm speaking of...he was captured and later redeemed.  Another notable Jedi is credited with his capture, though it was not the capture that gained her notoriety.  Not just that anyway.  It is said she knew how to use the ancient lost art of Battle Meditation.  I believe her name was Bastilla.  It is said she was captured and turned by Revan's former Sith apprentice, Malak, and then was rescued and redeemed by Revan himself after his own redemption."

Terenia groans a little. "No, don't give her an excuse to--"

She cuts off, control over her own vocal chords wrested away as Esreth steps into control, twisting Terenia's expression into a bright grin.

"Nice to meet you too," she responds, offering Terenia's hand. "It's nice to finally get out and meet some new people. Terenia's terrible about wanting to hide at home." She rolls her eyes good naturedly.
