Parker was taken aback by the information about Terenia getting her body back. As he understood, she was stuck in that form for good. He set that information aside and nodded to Claxter, ignoring his comment about him watching his words around Parker's presence. He looked Ossanlin over, judging the best way to move him. It would not be easy to move him safely alone, no matter how strong one is. He looked Claxter over and asked, "What are you changing into? I can grab his legs under his torso, you grab his hind quarters. Thor will guide to the ship. You don't have your stalk eyes to guide us, and I'm much more accustomed to walking backward."

<I forget the name, but it's a simian creature from a planet I was at once. It's a good strong morph for carrying someone, though adult Andalites are also quite heavy. Thank you for your assistance.> He said as he grabbed his half. He told Parker which direction the Mirage was in, in case he wasn't sure.

Catie looked at the people as they were being introduced to her, "Nice to meet you." was all she said.

Keshin blinks, hearing Salem's comment about the nanites. It was true, wasn't it? Salem had injected them with something a while back in order to bring the two of them from death. Keshin really couldn't even remember the incident---he had been only half-conscious during part of it. But he still knew that the trader had taken him into his ship and attempted to hide them from the rebels.

"Come to think of it, yeah," said Keshin, scratching Joanne's hand through her hair. "We haven't lost control of Joanne's heart rate as quickly recently. I don't think the nanites can fix what's wrong with her, but they can slow down the effect a bit. We should be able to wait it out until Corliss owns up on our deal. But that's assuming we don't do anything else." Keshin snickers at that thought----it was horribly unlikely.

Keshin then turns to Simon with an odd look. "That's...weird. Because I'm pretty sure that in this same Bar, there's a world where the Empire loses. We tried to do a job involving that early. Didn't work. At least in your world there are probably a few more opportunities for cash. But we won't live to see it."
************************************************************************************
Mar stares at the Imperial, trying to size up her motivations. He did not like the idea of a Yeerk that looked like Terenia confronting Myitt: it was rife with potential for a firefight. It also seems peculiar. What sort of problem does this creature have with my Precious? Does he have some kind of direct history with her?

"Myitt does not recognize my face, but I know her from long ago," states Mar, crossing his arms. "We have both an accord and have spent years together she cannot grasp. If you mean to cause her pain, I will take issue with it. I have spent too long bending strings in order to protect her from potential threats."

"The life of a mercenary is usually short, but I get the feeling you're talking about some sort of illness. The Yeerks have technology taken from every species in the galaxy, and had over a century to work on even the most recent technology they gathered from their conquest. Maybe they have something for you, if you're willing to get on Jocun's payroll." He said. the communicator was still on, but Jocun didn't say anything in response to what he heard. He wasn't opposed to the idea, at the very least.

Silver awoke slowly, blinking at her new surroundings. She knew instantly where she was as she had been in her father's sick bay plenty of times. She noticed an attendant watching her and as soon as the attendant was sure she was awake, took off leaving the ship.

~Ossanlin~

Ossanlin is conscious of being hefted, though he can only see things through a foggy haze, his periperal vision surrounded by a black tunnel.  Something feels off.  He has no idea what but can only assume it has something to do with his excessive use of his abilities of late.  He manages a few physical grunts as his body is moved, but is apparently unable of formulating or sending thought-speech at the moment.  His mind feels cloudy...fuzzy...

___________________ ___________________ ___________________ ___________________ ___________________ __________

~Raile~

Raile furroughs his brow as he regards Garreth's drink.  "I...suppose.  Though I find it hard to believe that anyone could replicate Whyren's Reserve this well."  He pauses a moment.  He's not felt anything dark from this stranger, though his senses are not terribly well-attuned.  If a Sith lord could share a room with Master Yoda with the elder Jedi being none the wiser, certainly a Sith could disguise his presence from Raile's comparably meager senses.  And he has no way of knowing how long the other has been present, or whether his stories about being from the Mandalorian Wars are true in any way.  The only facts about the Wars he could verify by memory would be known by any Padawan learner.  It merely seems that the other has accepted a highly unusual and irregular distortion in the fabric of space-time (if his stories were indeed true), with great ease and lack of curiosity...as if such a thing were commonplace and to be expected.

He had said he was not a Master either, a proper address would be to an equal.  "Ah...Garreth, would you mind if I call you by your first name?  At any rate, are these...distortions ..."  Raile motions around with a hand indicating the bar and its surroundings, "...are they commonplace in your...region...of space?"

Parker lifts Ossanlin from under his front legs. He holds him up with one arm and erects Ossanlin's torso with his other arm, keeping him at a comfortable position while he is carried. He gives Claxter a nod that he wouldn't be able to see. Thor begins directing Parker which direction to walk inside his helmet. He moves fluidly, obviously unencumbered by Ossanlin's weight. He slows to allow Claxter to keep pace.

When they reach the Mirage, Thor speaks aloud out of Parker's helmet's speakers, "I'm afraid the vessel is sealed. There appears no way of opening it from outside." Parker asks to both Thor and Claxter, "So how do we get in?"

Garreth shakes his head answering both questions at once, "No, not at all." he continues, answering the second question, "This nexus is completely foreign to me. I couldn't begin to fathom how it even exists, given all of the possible paradoxes it may have caused or might cause. I merely accept that it is here, as we are here. It doesn't do one good to dwell on impossibilities they can't comprehend. I only guess at further possibilities within the assumption that this place is true. There are some mysteries we are not meant to know the secrets of."

The question did take Garreth off guard, however he would never show it. If he could keep his composure in a Mandalorian camp being tortured by his own lightsaber, he could answer a random question off the cuff without a problem. It was odd that this Jedi from his future would ask such a question. Were it commonplace for such disturbances for him, then it would be doubly commonplace for this future Jedi. It may be that Raile did not fully trust Garreth. It would be understandable, as his master and brethren were betrayed by the government and army they swore to protect. His trust would be even more difficult to gain.

He shows an understanding and compassionate expression on his face as he regards his new friend, "I am no charlatan, fellow Knight. I speak the truth when I say I am from when I say I am from. I understand your position and sympathize; however you will not be able to move on and heal yourself if you meet everyone from now on with suspicion and callus. I know your wounds are fresh, but you have to let them stay in the Past if you are to survive. What would your master tell you to do when you endured a failure or injury?"

She wasn't sure why the attendant had left, but she sat up and stretched, rubbing her temples. She bit her lip, realizing she had passed out on Parker....and she felt horrible about it. She stood, making sure she was stable and started to go look for Parker, to apologize.

~Raile~

Raile nods as Garreth speaks, but grimaces as the Knight speaks of being a "charlatan".  Obviously Raile had been transparent, an open book...not what he'd meant to be.  Either that or Garreth had an incredibly keen sense of him...but such a sense was highly uncommon amongst the Jedi of the Republic and as such, senses so close were normally only obtained by sharing a Bond.  He looks away from Garreth as the other Knight speaks of his former master.

Raile remains silent, staring through the amber-coloured liquid in his tumbler, light diffracted by the glass and ice chunks within.  He fights the surge of emotions that swell up at the mention of his old master.  Sadness...fear...an ger.  His eyes glare emerald fire through the glass as if it is a vision stone, capable of showing him the path to take.  Before he had become Padawan to Master Slone, one of Raile's instructors as an apprentice, Master Korth, had once lectured about drives of the Dark Side.  One of those lectures had been on revenge.  He'd compared it to a dark forrest, easy to walk into, not so easy to return to where you started, and almost impossible to find your way back unscathed.  The forrest would change you, twist you, make you into something you would not like.

Korth was almost certainly dead along with all the others.  Raile's face twists in an unfriendly way before he schools his features again.  The more he tried to understand his feelings, the more he had to feel.  And the more he felt, the less he liked where his path was headed.

"A good thing that become a diplomat I did not..."  He chuckles ruefully.  "...if so easy to read I am."  He feels a quick pang at the loss of Master Yoda's kindness and wisdom.  Master Yoda himself had said Raile was too free with his emotions, too easy to read.  He strove to live up to all the expectations, and to his former master's standards, but he was unsuccessful more often than not.

"I did not mean to offend...I apologize."  He supposes the question had not been so cleverly worded as he'd thought.  Any such distortions in Mandalorian space would've been well-documented...in theory he should know nearly anything Garreth would know, at least anything of grand import or noteworthiness, if Garreth is telling the truth.  Such distortions would indeed be noteworthy.

He pauses again, thinking through his words carefully.  "Master Slone..."  He again represses a pang of sadness.  "Master Slone was a bit... unconventional.  'Raile, you must understand everything that you can.  When you feel something, you must truly feel it, you must see it from every angle, you must experience it.  Then you must understand it.  If you cannot understand, then you must accept that you cannot, and move on, but be wary of what you do not understand.  You must never stop trying to understand things, but you must accept that you cannot know everything and you must let go of what you cannot accept.  Do not be afraid to cherish life and all within it, but you must especially never fear to lose what you come to hold dear.  Every loss brings with it more wisdom.  Accept and endure.  Live in the Force and you will come to understand.'"  He quotes one of Nev-An's speeches and finally glances up at Garreth again for just a moment before returning his eyes to the glass and downing the rest in one gulp, his throat burning fire in protest.

<I don't have easy access to the ship, and it's possible that the machine I used to get on by myself last time only worked that once. However, the med bay on the Mirage is much better than what I have and I was hoping perhaps to rouse Prince Ossanlin enough for him to command the ship to open. I don't really know of any alternative medbay to put him in that wouldn't be barely adequate at best.>

Parker stood silent for a moment after Claxter spoke waiting for him to do something, anything really. After it was obvious he wasn't going to do anything, Parker spoke up, "So... you want to at least try to open the door? Theory is one thing, but who knows, maybe this time it'll work. It couldn't hurt to try."

It was becoming clear that Ossanlin wasout of it, so Claxter decided to try. <Mirage. Outer hatch open.> Claxter said loudly. He watched to see if it would work, or maybe Ossanlin would come around. <Prince Ossalin requires entrance.>

Morgan and Julian sat at a table looking over computer pads loaded with data from the CG facility Morgan had raided. Lately, Morgan hadn't been in his usual jovial mood, especially with the news Julian had brought him. That he was never human to begin with, that his Minotaur appearance was the way he'd been born. That there were more scattered throughout his verse just like him. His best friend Julian for example. But why did he have pictures in his head of being human, of Julian being human? What did it all mean?

Julian was getting fed up. Morgan had been through worse, he was certain, and come out unscathed. He slammed the pad he had down on the table.

"That's it! Forgive the expression, but you need to stop being so bull-headed, Morgan!"

Morgan looked up, confused about the outburst.

"It's true that the CG messed you up worse than you previously knew. But from what I've heard talking to Gaz, you don't usually mope like this. What happened to the good natured guy I used to know? You have a good crew behind you, friends here. You found your daughter after years of searching. That should all mean something. If you mope about this then the CG has won whatever perverse fight they were after."

Julian pulled out the photo he had placed down earlier. It showed a younger Morgan, Julian and Andromeda. Andromeda was holding a baby.

"Anti-Myth sentiments lead the CG to do something horrible to you and other Myths. Why they tried to make you think you used to be human...I don't know the answer to that yet. But this--" Julian pointed to the picture, "this is the man I grew up with. The man who became a successful cargo captain and married a good lookin girl and had a beautiful kid. Also chose a pretty good lookin' godfather if I do say so myself. Now, I'm going to get a drink and if you don't snap out of this soon I'm going to have to horse-kick you."

Vogefac wandered around the shipyard unsure of what had happened and what he should do next...perhaps he could communicate with Artemis telepathically? Unless of course, she lost her telepathy after returning from the Shadow Dimension. And he did not want to intrude on Artemis and Parker if they were busy becoming reacquainted. But...what else was he to do?

I could be vaporizing Kqorrians in the Andromeda galaxy with Frederick right now. But I had to return to the Bar...

He thought for a moment and remembered...neithe r Frederick, nor the Zetylon, his brand new ship, had returned to the Bar with him.

"Wonderful. What will the Military have to say if I return in a shuttle...and without my second officer. Well, I suppose I'll be returning without any of my bridge crew. After all, they were on the Zetylon."

He stopped, "I am talking to myself. This is not appropriate behavior...I must locate Artemis."

So at the risk of angering Parker, Vogefac called out to Artemis, {{Artemis...I am unsure if you are still able to reply, but I apologize for my behavior earlier. I wish to associate further with you and Parker.}}

He searched for her mind on the asteroid...not in the bar...in the shipyard. That ship there? Yes...her essence emanated from it. He walked over...but obviously it wouldn't be as simple as walking in.

{{Artemis...may I enter? If so, I will need your assistance. I am at the entrance to the ship. Please...if you accept my apology. I cannot bear being alone...}}

He stood by the door to see if she would let him in...
