Salem nodded, "I'm sorry it wasn't anything useful. I'll keep trying, and let you know as soon as I break through." He sighed, "The Yeerk systems based on Andalite systems... they probably use Z-space data storage, right?" He folded his arms, "That kind of limits my options. Flekteon might be able to extract hard-coded information, but the odds of them being able to manipulate the ship to find data stored in Z-space are not as good."
He smirked, "I could vaporize that ship, slowly, and record every atom, every quark, as I destroy them. Once you get past Heisenberg it's pretty simple. My computer should be able to reconstruct everything recorded on theirs, given a bit of time. It might require shooting a few rebels along the way, though, so I'd rather not try it except as a last resort. I might be able to access the information that way, but if it's properly encrypted, destruction of the ship would mean losing it forever. I don't know that Yeerks and Andalites realize it's possible to attain information like that, though, so there's probably a pretty good chance it isn't 'properly encoded.'"
He shook his head, "I'll try Flekteon, and keep monitoring his communications, unless you tell me you need the information faster. I don't want to take risks I don't have to."
