Actually, considering they appear to ingest sunlight and pixie dust, and they have no cardiopulmonary system (see #29), then no they might not even have a liver.  I think Yeerks are all neuron/brain/sonar and very little else.

Haha, I can just picture it now...

Dorothy is skipping down the Yellow Brick Road and runs into the Scarecrow...

"I wish I had a brain!"

"I wish I had a home!"

So they both skipped merrily down the road together. Then they ran into the Tin-Man.

"I wish I had a Heart!"

"I wish I had a brain!"

"I wish I had a home!"

So the Tin-Man skipped with them down the Yellow Brick Road. They came to a Jungle, where they found a...

Dorothy, "Wasn't there supposed to be a lion here?"

Scarecrow, "Yea, what happened?"

Tin Man, "All I see is 3 poor little slug...with fins and palps..."

Yeerk 1, "I wish I had a Home."

Yeerk 2, "I wish I had a Brain."

Yeerk 3: "I wish I had a heart."

And so, Dorothy, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Man all were infested. But hey, the Yeerks were happy!

Yes, if you're going to be off of the bar planetoid (even if that means you're in orbit) for an extended period of time, then you should make a separate thread for it.  Just make sure to prefix it with "GESB:".
