There are a number of languages that Scholastic is able to publish in, although at this time all we have confirmed is English. That doesn't mean it will stay that way, but it's too soon to know.

Shorm, at this point we aren't even sure that the MM and Chronicles books will be reprinted at all, with or without new covers. The confirmed release list right now covers #1-#6 (I believe). It's my assumption that Scholastic will gauge future releases on the popularity of the first half dozen.

As they began to make new covers, I supposed there will be new covers for all the volumes they will re-edit. But as said Terenia, we know only for the 6 first volumes (in English) for sure.
I hope we'll have news for the other languages soon. I translate/summarize the news from here and Hirac Delest about the re-release for a French forum about Animorphs. The few members are very excited and wanna know more.

I am not fully sold on the new covers, either. You can see they want a more 'photo-real' look, but the ones from our time are still so much more engaging and relevant for what they were!

Anyone actually read the re-releases?
I am wondering if the KASU's were fixed up, since they are reaching to a brand new audience. It would be a missed opportunity, if they haven't.

What about the front page illustrations, just inside the cover?  Those were seriously some of the best, most illuminating parts of the books...where else can you get an image of the Hork-Bajir war, or...or the interior of a futuristic Yeerk apartment??

both my #3's got ruined because of those.
You know I was going to ask if anyone else had that same problem with #3. I ended up buying a brand new one and pretty much wrapping it up in saran wrap so it wouldn't get damaged. I noticed that as the series went on from that first 4 in the box set, they changed the design of that hole so it was easier to put the books in and out of shelves so they wouldn't rip. I have 3 #3's due to that bad design.

Really? Mine is #2. Granted, I only recently got #3 in English from a second hand store, and up until then only had it in French, which didn't have the holes... So #2 was my most problomatic one.

We didn't have that in the French edition. That's one of the reasons why I'd like to own the full collection (the old one, of course) in English too... ^^'
