Wow, I didn't think it was possible, but they were able to make them even worse. Good job Scholastic. KA must be rolling in her grave. you know, since she committed suicide upon viewing these.

Okay... but they're not releasing them every other month. Just the first few. There are 3 months between #4 and #5.

You're right, sorry. I didn't notice it for the last one. I hope they do eventually move it to at least every other month though, if not every month.

oh they are that bad... as far as i'm concerened it was hard enough getting the animorphs books but now with the rerealeses it's going to get doubley as bad getting some real animorphs books. they really messed  up with these rerealeases

His face is good for Jake, IMO. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the covers, but I don't have any complaints about the model so far.

Scholastic just made a press release for the Animorphs relaunch, and also revealed the morphing animation for the first book cover!

He looks freakishly close to the way I draw Jake - unarched eyebrows, same eyelids, straight nose, slightly cloved chin...all he has is higher cheekbones and more modern hair.

For some reason I never thought Jake would have a neck that long. that's how mine was at around 16 until I grew into my look a bit more.  I'd say this model is too old.
