Never heard of compression goom? I see no reason you wouldn't be able to get it down to a more reasonable file size and still look decent.
i know about compression. i use 'optimize for gif' in GIMP, using only the differences in the layers rather than replacing the whole thing each time.
400 frames is nothing to laugh at
i'll try and have an .avi up in a bit, since that would probably work better.
here's the .gif file (11mb size, so i figured i wouldn't directly link it).
i couldn't get the beginning quite right, partially due to his hair being cropped off (rather than his whole head being available for me to morph).
the image's first and last frames are both 2000ms, while most of the rest are 40ms.

if anybody wants me to, i can make an alternate morph without a loop (jake -> lizard, repeat) for a smaller size.
