"Well, then," Myitt says cheerfully, although she is not smiling, "you won't mind if we find out for ourselves."  She carefully places the wires next to Tamora's ears, stepping back and letting the microscopic fibrils snake their way into Tamora's head.  The usual holoscreen flickers into view above the small black box.

((I'm not actually sure if resisting a memory dump is dangerous, but I'm assuming so because this is the first time I've seen it being used as an investigative procedure other than Visser, and Edriss was voluntarily accepting it in Visser. I think that if it were that useful/safe of a technique it would have been used more often.))

"Get away from me you traitor!" Zorish hisses, twisting his head as far as he can under the restraints, "Just because I have nothing of worth for you does not mean I want you treating me like a medical experiment. If I resist I might die, and my host with me and perhaps even whichever of you dapsens is linked up with me. Is it really worth that risk?"

"If you have nothing to hide, why resist?  And if you have something of worth to us, the computer will record it.  So, yes," says Myitt calmly, sitting on the opposite gurney and placing the other ends of the wires up against her own host's ears.

((Not sure if it would actually cause damage just from resisting, but I figured it wasn't used as often because the Empire just preferred to get their information from traitors the hard way -_-; ))

Alic kept her distance and decided to keep her thoughts to herself. She took a few steps out of the way of Myitt and Ossanlin. Alic couldn't help but smile at the comment about punching people for sport, since that was what she did while on Earth anyway. Hopefully this process would be over soon and they could finish their mission.

Deciding to leave this to those who knew what they were doing, Alic joined Claxter. <How long?>

Zorish gritted his teeth and fixed Myitt with a defiant glare, "why resist? Why wouldn't I resist someone who is on the opposite side of the battle lines?"

Inhaling deeply as the wires affix themselves to his Yeerk body Zorish's grimace smooths out into a cold smile, "fine, you wish to know my secrets? I promise you that there is little you will find interesting. You have either been given very poor information or are seeking for more than what it is you claim."

Ossanlin's expression remains impassive.  He'd hoped to gain some useful information from Zorish, but of course that would only be a bonus.  The true goal was Tamora, and ultimately, Efaen's freedom.  <Hmm, well all living creatures are barbarians on some level.  We shall see what you know, my friend.  Myitt is very experienced with this sort of thing.  You say you know nothing of interest, but I highly doubt that is the truth.  I'm sure enough about human culture could be garnered for your purposes simply by infesting humans and compiling information from their memories.  Why place a senior officer in charge of such mind-numbing work?  Certainly you're not trying to co-exist with humans, that would be against the nature of most if not all Imperials, yes?  If what you say is true, you will not be missed and will be easily replaced.  And even if this is the case, you will have at least some useful information.  Even the simplest information such as the internal schematic of a Blade Ship, which you certainly know, will be useful.  So do please relax and enjoy having your thoughts read.>

Myitt doesn't reply to Zorish, already homing in on Zorish's memories.  Tara's eyes are closed as she sits on the gurney in a sort of dazed state, but they are moving behind her eyelids.  As she had done only a few days ago with Terenia, she could now flip through Zorish's memories as easily as her own, or her host's.

In Zorish's mind, Myitt appears dressed much as she is now, in Tara's body--rags and all.  She crosses her arms, standing on the bustling bridge of a Blade Ship.  The image flashes, the scene melts.  Myitt is a co-pilot on a Bug fighter, standing next to Zorish.  She looks over at her, in this memory-realm, which is also being recorded and displayed by Myitt's portable device.

"So, Sub-Visser," she says, leaning on the fighter's control panel.  "Where shall we begin?  Hmm?  Perhaps with the interesting bits?"

<The city is coming up on the viewscreens. Although this is really the easy part. finding the enemy will be the hard part, and he may have already taken one of the bandits by now.>

(You know, Tobias might see the burn marks on Marco's house door during one of his patrols. Does anyone want to do that? Or have a message come in from the peace movement?)

(I kind of got that idea. Which is why I decided to not have Sukohn infest Marco. I don't want to step on any toes.)

<I suppose if Sukohn is working independently, and that's a big if, then his ship may be cloaked above ground. I can try to run a sensor sweep of any ship, but that may alert the enemy to our presence.>

Ossanlin glances at Hadrin before commanding the computer to watch the vitals of both Zorish and Myitt.  <I know you're uncomfortable here, but please watch them.  If Myitt appears to be experiencing any difficulties, if any alarms sound, or if anything seems to be abnormal, please call for me immediately.  I must go to the bridge.>

Ossanlin trots out of the med-lab without further ado and trots the short distance to the bridge.  <Looks like everything's nominal.  We don't have any time to waste, the Imperial already knows we're after him, we don't need to worry about alerting him.  We simply need to ascertain his location as quickly as possible and take him into custody.  Run a broad-band sensor-sweep over the city Claxter.  This may be...difficult.  I do wish we had asked Matthew for some of his 'clothing'.>

<Yes my Prince.> Claxter started a sweep over the city for any ships sitting out in the open. It was a large place, but he tried to be methodical and start in the housing area assuming one of the bandits would be taken from their home.

Zorish grimaces, steeling himself against the memory dump program that is now ingrained in his own brain. The images that flash on the holoscreen are messy and indistinct at first, snippets from both Tamora and Zorish's life that form a sort of fast-motion nonsensical movie. After awhile the information begins to sort itself out into coherent data, beginning with Zorish's appointment as the Director of Human Affairs, a position that was agreed upon as a sort of tenuous compromise between the Council, Visser One and Visser Three.

The images flash forward to Zorish working undercover, on earth, for several years. First in the body of a middle-aged corporate guru and then, in an attempt to gather data about youth culture and the ease of human manipulation at a young age, in Tamora.

There is only one Yeerk Pool that Zorish frequented, the heavily populated Southern California pool that has become large enough to be read on Andalite sensors. Zorish seems to be aware of another pool of equal size somewhere in the Manhattan area, but details are sketchy.

Further investigation reveals basic schematics of the areas Zorish frequents on the Blade Ship: bridge, mess halls, Yeerk Pool, quarters and docking bay. The names of a few other high ranking Yeerks also appear, along with the name of Zorish's "superior", a human-controlled Yeerk of the rank Sub-Visser Fifty-One who, despite having a lower rank and a somewhat worrisome companionship with her host Taylor, was put in control of the major tactical decisions over Zorish.
