Myitt checks to make sure Hadrin is still breathing.  Luckily he's still alive, slumped over the control panels but strapped into his seat, with what look like only a few minor cuts and bruises.  She pats him on the shoulder.  <You saved our tails, my friend,> she murmurs silently.

"Yes, I think it would be best if we took them to the Mirage's medbay," says Myitt quietly, turning to the dead controls and tapping at them futilely.  "We're going to need to get Matthew there, as well.  But look, we've got a crashed Bug fighter and a human car out here.  How long do you think it's going to take for someone to notice, and call the cops?  We should at least try to make sure this thing is cloaked."  She rubs the back of her neck in frustration.  "Damnit, the auxiliary power is fried, it might not be enough to run basic life support, let alone a cloak."

<I am unsure how to solve that problem. Would it take a lot of energy to completely vaporize the craft? Perhaps you can operate the ground vehicle and get it away from here.>

"It would take the Apex Mirage, maybe more, and what do you think that would do to the humans?" Myitt says, as screens flicker up and then die again in front of her.  "In the UFO capitol of the bloody world, no less," she adds bitterly.  She glances at Claxter.  "What are you waiting for, we need to get them out of here!  I'll be able to help you in a moment."

<Uh-yes! I'm going!> Claxter said and hurried to the ship. He entered the medbay and placed Tamora on the table as well as restraining her arms and legs. Then he hurried back outside to matthew. He was still unconscious by his vehicle, so Claxter picked him up gently and took him to the ship as well. He placed the Human on another bed, but didn't restrain him.

<If you can understand me, Matthew, I have brought you to the medbay of our ship. do not be alarmed, and do not move around. Computer. Examine patients for any and all injuried they have sustained.>

He then left the ship to help Myitt with Hadrien. <I suppose I can try out my Human morph afterwards.> He said after entering the ship.

When the ship crashed into the desert floor Tamara was thrown forward against her restraints. Luckily she had strapped herself in fully, and she had not suffered more than whiplash and a few abrasions where the straps had cut against her skin.

The slightly more unfortunate bit was the fact that Zorish had to watch helplessly as his ship was invaded and some strange alien lifted him from the restraints. As he was being carried out of his ship he caught sight of two creatures he certainly had not expected to see: Andalites.

<The bandits!> he hissed silently, <they must have set a trap for Visser Three after all.>

As he is carried into a clearly Andalite ship Zorish focuses all of his energy on waking his host up.

"It's no use, they're lucky to be alive, this ship is dead in the water," Myitt says finally, stepping back from the controls.  She helps Claxter carry Hadrin over to the Mirage.

"Ugh, Justin, what have you been eating," she grunts as she tries to lift the weight of a full grown man.  She's grateful to have Claxter to help carry the weight.

When they reach the Mirage Myitt helps Claxter move Hadrin to the med bay, and she sits back against a wall, sliding to the floor.

"Break time," she exhales, looking up at the medical tables wearily.

<We don't have time for a break, dude.  Hey.  Hellooo?  Why are my hands shaking?>

<When was the last time you've eaten?> Myitt asks.

<When was the last time you've eaten?>

Myitt clears her throat.  "Claxter, make sure Zorish is restrained.  Her host's eyes are open, she might be able to see us, depending on her state of awareness."

<I restrained her. She will not be able to move from the table.> Claxter said. He went over and rechecked the restraints to make sure he was right. He noticed that Tamora's eyes were open, and moved his hand over her face to see if her eyes would track.

<Are you conscious? If you are, I will tell you that you are a prisoner of war now. Cooperation would be in your best interest. Defection to the Yeerk rebels is your best option for survival at this point.>

((how did those weak andalite arms carry a human? :P ))

Alic stayed back as the humans were removed and taken back to the Mirage. <Do we need to move the vehicle? You know if any authorities come this way and it's suspicious the yeerks will be the first to show. We don't need to tie Matthew to this. I can drive.> Without waiting for a response Alic was morphing human. She wasn't able to drive in awhile and thought she would take advantage of it. Besides, Myitt was the only other one here who could, and she was needed more than her inside the Mirage.

Within about a minute, Alic was barefoot on the cool desert ground, a small smile on her face. "Please be automatic." She sprinted to the Jeep. "Where should I take it?"

((Oi, you guys suddenly decided to start moving fast...  :p  Oooh, I went out and bought Avatar tonight a little after midnight and watched it again...I am SO in love with that movie it's unhealthy.  Oh, and I think Chad morphed, Patty.  :)  ))

Ossanlin ceases fire and watches Myitt toss her Dracon back and forth in a comical fashion.  He spins his shredders around his index fingers and holsters them, the barrels already nice and cool thanks to their heat-syncs.  He watches as Myitt digs around in the panel and smiles to himself as it opens.  <That's the tech we know and love.>  He takes a look inside the Bug, there was quite a bit of twisted metal.  Half the holo-screens were shattered and sparks flew from the main console.  <Yes, we need to move them without delay.>  Ossanlin spots the little energy-mine which had clattered to the floor.  He picks it up and carries it back to the Mirage as Claxter carries the two human hosts.  He speaks quickly to Myitt.  <I believe Aliciania wants to know where to hide Matthew's vehicle.>

He places the spent mine on a work-bench and heads into the medical compartment, quite cramped.  There were only two med-bays designed with andalites in mind, so poor Hadrin was slumped up against the back wall.  He quickly activates the med-bay suspension fields to hold the humans up off of the sterile adjustable "gurneys".  He leaves the restraints on Zorish even though they should not be an issue with the suspension field in place.  It never hurt to be careful.  Stranger things than a power failure had happened.  <Myitt, in humans, the olfactory sense bypasses the sensory relay center does it not?>  Ossanlin spoke in loud thought-speech as he quickly placed cerebral stimulators on Matthew's forehead, dialing them in for use on a human.  The computer scans said he had no abnormal swelling or bleeding in the cranial cavity.  Ossanlin quickly disinfects the cut on his forehead and applies a small compress bandage as he waits on Myitt's response.  The cut was not severe enough to require the surgical laser.

(Claxter morphed something that looks similar to a Gorilla. So think about a rubber forehead version of Marco's morph carrying people.)

Myitt climbs shakily to her feet.  "Tell Alic to bring the Jeep into town, anywhere inconspicuous.  We'll need to pick her up quickly, because we're going to need to vaporize that Bug fighter.  Do you think the Mirage can handle it?"

She walks over to the sterile gurneys and watches, interestedly.  At least Hadrin and Matthew were alive, and not in terrible shape.  They had been very lucky so far.

"And yes, the olfactory cortex is a very primitive system in terms of general Earth evolution," says Myitt with a small smile.  "Turns out it does most of its own processing and bypasses the...the...belem, what the hell is it..."

<Thalamus,> Tara sighs.  <Please, let's not relive that year, already.>

"The thalamus.  Right.  Humans call it the thalamus."  Myitt leans close to Matthew's head, squinting.  "It's not very deep, right?  The wound?  I just feel...really bad, putting him into this whole mess.  I should've been the one out there."

<Okay!  Sacrifice my head, why don't you?>

<I'm under the impression that your host is rather noticable around these parts. I'm certain Matthew's injuries are only mild, as are the other's.> Claxter said as he stopped waving his hand in front of tamora's face and demorphed.

<If the Yeerks find this first they'll just cover it up and be done. If free Humans find it first, they will be killed or infested.>

"Yeah, well, I'm not exactly on the nightly news," Myitt murmurs.  "But the people who would know to look for me know this mug, that's for sure.  As for the humans finding the Bug, yes, they'd be putting themselves at risk, but the Empire as well.  Who knows how much of a thing like that would be carted off to some museum, or government facility, before it was cleaned up and the humans involved were silenced?"  She shakes her head.  "No, we need to destroy it."

Alic climbed into the Jeep and shut the door. Thankfully the keys were still in the ignition and, even better, automatic. Not that it would be a problem otherwise, it had just been awhile. She turned the key and started the engine, waiting for direction. She knew that staying here would be bad and drove off, trying to obey the speed limit and hopefully going the right way.
