prior to andalites having the morphing technology or in the cases where they can't morph like that one dude in that one book (ya ya i don't remember his name or the book number whatever) - if an andalite lost a hoof or broke a leg, what would happen?

if you look at hoofed mammals, they can't walk on three legs like mammals with paws. trying to imagine an andalite with a broken back leg, maybe. but due to the weight distribution their humanlike torso provides, i would think walking would be neigh impossible with a broken front leg.

When the andalites were still primitive, they would have likely done what cowboys did to injured horses. Put them our of their misery.

As they evolved they likely developed methods similar to what we have now for injured horses.

That's why I said primitive, they didn't know how to do any of that.

Splint it, don't let the horse walk for a few days. Unfortunately, if a horse is disabled for long it might not be able to get up again.

You know how sometimes when places serve both sweetened and regular tea, they will label the other one "unsweet"?  That always makes me think of the Andalite word "unschweet," meaning their tradition of cutting fur.

So, what, the tea is so bad it makes your fur fall out?

Not even considering that she surrendered the morphing cube and was hated by thousands (maybe even yourself) around the globe? Not at all? Ok, maybe it's time to check myself in Arkham Asylum.
