So far, 1-8 is confirmed relaunch. No one has any idea about MM1. Hirac delest has really good info about animorphs. There's a blog that sometimes has info about relaunch

Is used to express what certain people dont consider to be "real books" and it´s supposed to be funny cause that girl only reads those kind of books instead of "classics" and thus she isn´t "really reading" but more like, I dont know, getting duber, get the idea? (of course the only of that list that I dont consider to be a "real book" is twilight)

The point is Animorphs is, still, being used by outside groups to make cultural references. I don't mind that it's getting poked at

Likewise though, I don't care for twilight, so even in references mocking them, I prefer Animorphs not be categorized with it

While it is a little disappointing that it is lumped in with Twilight, I think it just kind of a comment mocking those that view light pleasure reading as making them 'uber nerds' or something.  Maybe nerd is the new 'cool?'   


Anyway, I kind of view that as a strength of the Animorphs series, it was light enough to be enjoyed by those who don't like deep books, yet it still attracted a crowd of deeper thinkers as well.  And of course, any series will have it's group of nay-sayers, my father holds to this day that Animorphs was one of the worst written series ever, though he only ever read half of a book.

I sorta wish that I was a nerd, but I'm more interested in quantum mechanics and genetics than technology

And I thought a nerd was someone who is interested in technology, and how it works. Animorphs doesn't include too much of how stuff works

nerds are not genre specific

you have your star trek nerds, star wars nerds, harry potter nerds, computer nerds, biology nerds, beatles nerds, shakespear nerds etc.
In my eyes and one who knows all the starting Lakers stats is a Laker nerd. Though most of those people are just called fans
But mostly nerds are really good with the subject(s) and tend to be somewhat socially odd


Just being active on this site qualifies you well as an Animorphs nerds- at least as knowing your subject, up to you your socially aptitude.

I think one day you'll make a fine quantum mechanic/genetic/animorphs nerd yunyun.
And that's a good thing
