So over the last ten months I've reread the series, going slowly not deeply to see how it effects me at this point in laugh.

Only a few didn't make me laugh.
A number of them made me sad, but more for piting a particular character than empathy.

Nostalgia still a factor, but even so, it's a nice series. I look forward to sinking into it again, thought perhaps not anytime soon

Depended on the book, pitied all of them at some point. Macro and Tobias in the beginning. Rachel Jake and Ax in the end.
Cassie on occasion, just never when she was narrator.
For once even the Ellimist in TEC.

After completing watching the Opinionated Animorphs Book Guide I just found the "Thought-Speak – An Animorphs Podcast"...

I think it's about time for me to start up a re-read of the series. Haven't sat down and read through it since . . . what, sophomore or junior year of high school? Yeah, I'm long overdue for it.
