Uh-huh.  That was a thing that actually happened.  The alien saves the kid, smothers 'em like a blanket, kid passes out, wakes up, escapes from evil scientists lab, then squats down and "[lays] the biggest egg you ever saw!" in front of their house.  Book ends.  The kid's sex was left vague to appease censors iirc, but that just opens up whole other potential cans of worms.

Back on topic, Tobias is clearly trying to figure out how to unscrew this camera for a surveillance mission.

That was a cool list. Though I would certainly say it was "in no particular order..."

I'm pretty sure that they're discussing it all in-universe, but I'm not sure. I just told the kid who said "is this real?" that Yeerks wrote the books. It certainly doesn't look like a very put-together forum, and the discussions didn't seem very... uh, fruitful.

I recently found out that Moist Nugget is a nickname for a Russian gun called the Mosin Nagant. I'm not a gun person, but I still think it's a great name.
