Honestly, I always thought Goosebumps was kinda lame. Read one book, you kinda read them all.

Give Yourself Goosebumps, on the other hand, was incredible.

I used to love Goosebumps. I haven't read many of the GYG books but I did enjoy the ones I read.

They were the best. 100x better than alternamorphs, there were 10 different endings that resulted you in being ALIVE, not a dead rat or whatever.

Yeah, GYG was the shiznit. I have the first one sitting on a bookshelf in my basement back home. Might pick it up when I get the chance.

I remember being addicted to the magic shop GYG.  That one had some crazy twists.  I also liked that there was a death for listening to the bratty sister for once in your life.  It literally said something along the lines of, "When has she ever said anything worthwhile?"  XD

I feel like RL Stine was probably tormented by siblings in his childhood.

Probably. He erased the existence of the protagonists sister completly in one of the main series books, I think it was called Cuckoo Clock of Doom. That one always freaked me out for some reason.

That one was just existentially terrifying.  The ending bugged me, but then again, 99% of all the books' endings bugged me.  That's why Night in Terror Tower is my favorite.  It was suspenseful, had interesting plot twists, and a decent/happy ending.

The Ghost Next Door surprised me the most, idk I read Night in Terror Tower when I was older so wasn't as shocking. Still a really good book though. The only other one I would put high on my list would be Let's Get Invisible, which was really creepy.

That one was pretty creepy.  The whole mirror thing was interesting when you figure out why it's happening, but then it had the typical plot twist ending that just completely undid everything the characters accomplished in the book.

Yanno what had a weird ending?  Egg Monsters from Mars.  The kid lays an egg.  Srsly.  Like, right in the front lawn.
